What is going on in the NYC subways? This is the fifth time in recent weeks. Is this some sort of new gang sport?

Makes you kind of wonder if right after Bernard Guest shot the criminals if the crime rate went up or down for a while. The gun laws don't work because only law abiding citizens respect them. It is just wrong thinking.

Give me and about two or three friends a week in NYC or a large metropolitan area. I think I could cut the crime rate.

A lot of soccer moms are beginning to carry guns.

This story comes just a couple of days after another story about the NYC police union accusing the police leadership of deliberately under-reporting crime in New York City over the last few years.
What's happened now is that more and more people are starting to question the accuracy of the crime stats, because we've seen a number of crimes like this in recent months: in broad daylight and/or in crowded places -- crimes that can't just be swept under the rug.

NYC has a very creative crime reporting system. This type of crime is hard to hide tho.

When will the NY Times begin to do some of their Serious Reporting on the Quagmire in NY? How can this be happening in the State of those famous gun grabbers, Hillary and Schumer ????
Maybe that wonderful (NOT) columnist Maureen Shroud can write some columns to expose this travesty.
Time for them to run 50 days of Front Page, Top of the Fold stories?
