*THIS* is the ultimate in "Unclear on the Concept"! Here's what I got in my email this morning. The "Hitler ad" was one of the winning ads in the competition held be ... MOVEON.ORG!
DUH. Their content is below:

It isn't often that we'd ask you to go to George W. Bush's campaign website. But every single American should go to georgewbush.com immediately and watch the disgusting ad the Bush/Cheney campaign has featured on the front page.
Titled "The Faces of John Kerry's Democratic Party," the ad features Adolf Hitler alongside Democrats, including John Kerry. President Bush's campaign has relied on negative attacks against Kerry, but this is a new low.
We've always said the Bush campaign would do anything to win, but even we are shocked that they've sunk this low. It's bizarre. It's outrageous. And we're not going to stand for it.
If President Bush has any decency at all, he'll remove this hateful ad from his website immediately.

I wanted to reply to the email telling them just WHERE the ads came from. But they know. And I didn't want to get kicked off the list - gotta keep an eye on these guys.

Of course you are correct. They are completely aware of their dishonesty. Which is why this needs to be out there ... anyone got a direct line to a weekend radio talker, this would make some prime broadcast conversation to counterbalance the F911 gushing hysteria.

I noticed it show Kerry using curse words at a rally.
WHERE IS THE NYT ON KERRY USING CURSE WORDS?!?!?!?!
If any of their idiot supporters actually watch the video, it tells them right up front where it came from. Who knows. Maybe one or two Kerry-ers will actually have his, her or its eyes opened.
Let's forget about the fact that the Hitler image was from a moveon.org ad. Honestly I'm surprised that they're not more offended by the the placement of George Bush's image alongside John Kerry's. After all, he is depicted in the ad as well.
Proof that the DNC considers the American people completely STUPID!

Nice. I just watched the ad again, and I noticed that they've put an explanation at the beginning of it making it explicitly clear where the images came from. PERFECT. I hope the recipients of the DNC's email message do EXACTLY as they are told and watch the ad.
I patiently explained to him that it was 'aired' because it was published on MoveOn's website before their covers were pulled and they removed the ad. I then educated my friend on how the left has incessantly compared Bush to Hitler in books, public speeches, etc. I finished by explaining to him that the Bush ad is simply a compilation of what the left has said about Bush. If anyone was to blame, it's the left. I mentioned something about being hoisted on one's petard and Bush being a master at the rope-a-dope game.
My buddy was pretty quiet after that. We cooled off by talking about what an empty shirt Kerry is.
I'm surprised Kerry didn't complain about the use of curse words in Bush's ad.
I can only hope! I didn't want to go to their site ... I might pick up a bug or something there. :-)
