Nancy Reagan has been "above rubies" in value to President Reagan, as his wife, lover, and mother of two of his children. She raises the bar and sets an excellent example for women to follow.

"Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is far above rubies. The heart of her husband is safely entrusted to her. She will do him good and not evil in all of the days of her life." Proverbs 31-10, read on, etc.

God bless her.

You should see the picture of Mikhail Gorbachev comforting her. Two people who have lost the love of their lives in a few years. I think it goes beyond politics.

Yes, yes. I think he seems to be a very sweet man old Gorby. And he too always seemed crazy about his wife. Mulroney's story was lovely too that he told.

So, in sadness the good shines through. It's all just very emotional.

Nancy Reagan did a great service to this country by protecting the President from media exposure which would only have degraded him and the entire country. She deserves credit, and a debt of gratitude.

I can only think that his death was a celebration of "love": his love of country, love of mankind and his love of family. The simplest yet highest of values.

Yesterday, people around the world loved back as best they could.

To our military who participated AND around the world: My undying love!!

Bless you for posting that pic. I hadn't seen it before. When did this happen? I watched nearly round-the-clock but had to leave the room a few times, so must've missed it then.
