I'm not, but it looks like some of the serfs in the People's Republic of Chicago and surrounding areas are.

Funny. My TV has this thing on it where you can select what you want to watch. If I don't to watch something, I turn it OFF!!

The Tribune Company is busy laying newpaper people off these days. Pity they haven't figured out that insulting their readers isn't good for business.

The burial is tonight. Then it will be back to normal, or whatever that is.

I actually heard a Democrat complain that Ray Charles did not get near the TV news coverage that President Reagan did. She was very bitter about it.

NO--Hey, if I could, I'd be glued to the TV, not wanting to miss any detail.
It is funny, but the people who are complaining are the ones who do not look up to anyone, and think humans are expendable (partial birth abortion).

For those who don't revere or understand history, or those who hate the great things done by Ronald Reagon, or those who fear the re-election of George Bush.........Well I guess they would be over burdened by the extensive coverage of this Great President's funeral.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Except for FR, I haven't watched any coverage on Ronald Reagan until this morning's service. So, it wasn't too much for me. What's the alternative? More on a Iraqi prisoners wearing panties or 24 hour coverage of Scott Peterson?

The Dems are going to go nuts if the Reagan funeral cuts into today's Jerry Springer show.

Exactly.

Sometimes when I've had enough of crying over Reagan, I go away.

Sometimes I even turn off the TV! ;-)

Uh, I was done with Princess Di looong before the media was. They have some nerve complaining about Reagan's coverage. He did more for the world than Di ever did. It was a proper farewell, well-deserved.

What the heck is wrong with these liberal jerks? If Clinton died they would have a week long funeral for him. Don't tell me Hillary and Bubba don't plan to have a huge week long one for him when he goes. It was just a week. Why the liberal media and the American liberal public can't give up a week of their TV time to honor a president?

It's a good opportunity to educate the public school kids who have yet to hear about how their lives are immeasurably better because of President Ronald Reagan. It's a nice walk down memory lane for the rest of us, and a reminder that better days are yet to come.

"What's the alternative? More on a Iraqi prisoners wearing panties"

ROFL!

Yeah, that's what WE *really want - continuing monthly coverage of all that "horrid abuse".

Funny, I don't recall anyone in the media complaining about the two and a half weeks worth of coverage of Princess Diana's death, funeral, etc.

I'm "up to here" concerning anything to do with Laci Peterson, her husband, and the trial. I"m "up to here" with Ten Year anniversary's about OJ cutting his ex wife's head off. I"m "up to here" with Kobe Bryant. I'm "up to here" with endless stories about Abu whatever Prisoner "abuse" story.

I'm "up to here" with leftwing lies concerning the economy. I'm "up to here" with endless rants about the "wealthy 1%". I'm "up to here" with John Kerry's endless droning that signifies nothing. I'm "up to here" with the Pelosi's of the world.

I'm "up to here" with anything French. I'm "up to here" with anything about the UN. I'm "up to here" with "Bush lied, people died".

(rant mode OFF)

Sorry, just had to get it out of my system, folks....(grin)
