As president, Ronald Reagan did not always please his conservative supporters, but with the benefit of hindsight, they say his leadership was vital to the success of their movement.
"He was not God, but he did have convictions that were 'unlobbyable' and a vision for America, which obsessed him and drove him to success," said the Rev. I honestly think he doesn't want to offend the Hispanics by closing the border, but he has made us unhappy about it.
My daughter lives in Harlingen and the illegals work the farms down there, it's just a fact of life. I doubt if you or I would want to pick vegetibles all day in that heat for low pay.
I just don't think they should get free medical care, etc, when we have to pay top price.
