I'm sitting here watching game one of the NBA Finals, and I keep getting these commercials for ABC's fall lineup, interspersed with shots of Michael Eisner & David Stern hamming it up in the stands.

Why do these vermin even bother with the pretense of decency? Why don't they just cancel the whole lineup and replace it with home videos of men having relations with sheep? Michael Eisner is an utterly foul human being.

No one I know watches CBS, ABC, or NBC. I usually watch more interesting shows on the History Channel, A&E, or Wings.

Yeah, some of this is Eisner's doing. But in the entertainment business these days, you can't go wrong marketing to the lowest common denominator. Even if you have to wade into a few cesspools to find it.
