I saw wallace interviewed this morning..(can't remember which station)..his version is that he was close friends/is close friends with the Reagans.. Maybe his definition of friends will be different than ours. I'd like to watch it just to see what happens...
CBS's coverage yesterday was horrendous. I can't imagine Mike Wallace (who just recently used the D-Day events to trash President Bush and the Iraq war) being anything close to fair. I'll let others who have the stomach for it watch the show. I don't believe my blood pressure can handle it.
Have to admit I watched it tonight (at least the last half)...even though I almost never watch CBS. Truth is, I actually thought it was a very positive piece. Most of the time was spent on personal stories of Nancy and Ronald Reagan's 50-year love affair. All in all, not bad considering the source.
O fcourse, FOX has done the best job, but who is surprised by that. Anyone else watch it? Thoughts if you did?
