You have to be a child to get off on this overpaid, overhyped NBA garbage. If you paid me $100 I would watch it.
People still actually watch the NBA?
Why?
They like to watch cop shows?
True greatness doesn't need rings.
I meant the 2002-03 season, with the playoffs taking place in 2003, when they were tied for last place with the Warriors one night before finally gelling halfway during the regular season.
And please answer my question: Why was I pinged?
Obviously you weren't watching the game carefully. What happened is that the refs called 3 bogus fouls on Shaq prior to that. Same with Malone who was fouled by Garnett and was called for the foul. Instant replay proves this. Not to mention the fact that Bryant was manhandled over and over during the series and the refs just let it go.
I enjoy your conspiracy theories. You've always got doozies! :)
Finally, somebody who has the facts right. I didn't have a complaint with Shaq's fourth foul, although he barely brushed Sprewell. I blamed Jackson for even having him on the floor at that time. However, there were at least two calls before that, which were unbelievable. The real conspiracy should be why were the Lakers in foul trouble to begin with. But conspiracy theorists only want to talk from a one sided point of view.
True but it's icing on the cake.
I don't know if you mean in the big picture or as far as being a great athlete is concerned, but I don't think there are too many truly great players in any team sport that didn't at the very least get a shot at a ring. For example, Barry Bonds is a first-ballot Hall of Famer for sure, but by reaching the World Series in 2002, he escaped the distinction that is currently hung around Cub legend Ernie Banks' neck: "Best Player Never To Reach the World Series."
His greatness will reside in the memories of all who loved watching him play. Not in a ring.
Is that the reason? Please link me to any previous ones.
Frankly, it was quite clear what the refs were up to from the first game. The Lakers just played through it or didn't. Game 5 was an example of them collectively shrugging their shoulders and saying "We can't fight City Hall (or the NBA front office)."
Don't be silly. They may not win, but they have a chance just by being there.
You gotta source for that?
Yes, you're right. The team plane carrying the Lakers might crash. That is the Pistons ONLY chance.
Yes, I wasn't watching at all, haven't watched all year. The NBA is a fraud.

Has anybody ever considered that Rush was asking how many fouls Shaq had, because he was surprised that Shaq hadn't already fouled out? How's that for a conspiracy!
They don't call him "Coach Coattails" for nothing.
As far as the players go-there is no greater waste of time than listening to a professional athelete give an interview. Unless you want to learn how to curse and give cliched answers.
