Since when does the news show a full movie trailer and report it AS NEWS????

All I gotta say is if Bush wins the election with the entire world working towards his defeat then I think the dems will finally be crushed, because they're pulling out ALL the stops this year and giving it all they've got.

I'm not sure its a "scoop" when the guy has been sending out promo pieces to any and every news outlet around. It sounds more to me like he's the first "journalist" who thought he could get away with showing it. More evidence of the laziness of the media.

Afterall, it was a slow news day, no Iraqui prison scandals or serious death tolls to report on. The economy numbers are good and polls indicate that people are optimistic about the future.

This is not the first time Brokaw has shown clips from Crapenheight 911-NBC Nightly News showed a long clip last week ( May 26, IIRC), after the obligatory pictures of the same 4 naked Iraqi men they've shown every single night for the past 4 weeks.

Did he show >Gibson's trailer - another controversial film?

I searched wondering the same and could not find Brokaw showing or giving any timeshare to The Passion.

I must admit I am curious.

First of all it was not a scoop, it has had pretty ongoing coverage in the media before and during the presentation of his subjective documentary at the Cannes film festival; but will be absorbed osmotically by many ill informed as truth or fact under the "documentary" genre given, which is misleading in his attempt to steer the action his way without informing the audience" of such. Moore can direct and produce anything he wants, I just have a problem with it falling under the heading of a documentary.

This abomination is coming out June 25th. That is good. With the short attention span of the sheeple it will have been discredited and forgotten by Nov.
