May 23, 2004 -- A bizarre new kids' sex craze is sweeping the city's elementary schools.
Girls as young as 11 are stacking colorful rubber "sex bracelets" up their arms while their parents are unaware that each piece of the cheap jewelry represents a different sex act, according to a secret-code the kids share.

Then came the Pill. And Feminism. Now the pretenses are gone: girls are trained to be whores at a young age. Boys are trained to use them like kleenex.

I agree; this isn't the first I've heard of this and it's been a long time since I thought about it. I have a tough time believing pre-teens are sexually active, generally speaking. I'm sure there's the odd case here and there, but we used to call that "playing doctor".
These stories make the kids appear much more sophisticated than they actually are. The bracelet phenomenon is alarming, but my guess is that most of the kids wearing them are oblivious to the true connotations. They are merely playing a game, which happens to borrow adult terminology.

It doesn't matter what school your kids goto. Don't be so naive with the "Catholic" school bit. Values education is an ongoing effort. You can't just tell them about the "birds and the bees" and leave it at that. C'mon. How stupid are some people.
This is what happens when "parents" don't parent. They push it all onto the teachers.

Thankfully that black one is cutting off the circulation to her middle finger so she won't be expressing herself with that one much longer.
And that is exactly why your daughter is involved...it is parents' responsibility to parent. And when a parent defaults...no school can pick up the slack, no matter how hard they try.

Well, I can tell you for certain that many of the girls and boys know exactly what is going on. And while it is true that some are wearing them for the shock value, there is still a good number who are wearing them and doing the necessary things to 'deserve' them.
And if you think of other things going on in middle schools ....things like 'rainbow parties' - where the girls wear different color lipsticks and, well, pleasure the guys Monica Lewinsky style, leaving a different lipstick shade on the guy's 'member,' then you can see that they know what they are doing.
The may be doing it to be 'cool' and all that stuff, but it is not as if they are stumbling in the dark.
Oh, and when things like to$$ing s@l@ds and $now job$ (not BJ but SJ) are done, there is no way you can say they don't know what they are doing.
I am not sure how things were in the 50s, 60s or even 70s; but I kind of feel that people probably stuck to more 'conventional' things. Nowadays there are pre-teens doing stuff that many adults might never even have heard off.
Hoax my a$$. A doctor I know does the physicals at the local junior high for all the sports participants.
This craze is going on here in small town Pennsylvania.
Many of the kids this doc examines have shaved their pubic hair. It makes the oral sex easier.
