My great great Grandpa who was at Vicksburg as a supplies runner for the CSA at age 14 outlived 3 of 4 wives and had 23 children including several after aged 75.
His baby daughter from the last marriage is still alive in Jackson and is in her 80s. I visited her last year.

Does this mean WE WIN ?
Ah, yes. Bourbon, the water of life. A powerful and, dare I say, potent potion it is.

(I, on the other hand, have no trouble conceiving of this thought, much less conceiving in general.) :-)
Wow, even beats Anthony Quinn!
So, is it possible that William Rasberry (another Mississippian) is descended from your family's former "employees?"
I think I had a relative who fought on the Confederate side during the civil war, being that my Great-Grandfather came from Mississippi.
