FRIENDS, I NEED YOUR HELP!

Our close acquaintances, which we have known for many years and were of great help to us when we moved back to California recently, are the Grandparents of little Jonathan who is the victim of a Family Abduction, by the mother.

All the pertinent information is on the National Center for Missing and Expolited Children site, and his name is JONATHAN RICHARD ELLIS.

If you could take a few minutes to read it, and possibly print it out and distribute it to merchants or bulletin boards in stores that you frequent, it would be greatly appreciated.

This is, authorities believe, a local California matter. However, here is some additional information, from the Grandmother, about the perp: "... we think she might still be here but there's a chance she's in Carson City, Nevada or even Pennsylvania, Chicago, Utah, Washington state, possibly Tennessee. That's all we can think of.

Her parent's actually live in Tarzana but he [comment: the other grandfather] works near Wilshire in the city ... has a business there. And the last place she cashed a child support check was in El Monte. So we're not sure if she might have a cousin there. She also has an aunt in Pismo Beach but the police out there are watching her home for any signs of her or Jonathan."

I have another poster that the Grandparent and Father were distributing before the NCMEC information was made public. If you would like a copy of that one, please let me know via e-mail, and I will attach a copy of that also. It has a little more information on the grandparents who may be allegedly assisting her in this matter. Please don't post this last one use the one from NCMEC, but it will provide you with some additional information.

When "adults" begin to take responsibility for themselves and resume the beliefs and values of their ancestors, maybe they will take marriage more seriously and really attempt to reconcile differences instead of the infantile run to the lawyer!

Yes, I am married, for over 33 years now, not always fun and games, but everything of value takes some effort.

And Steplock, I agree. The one that suffers in all of this is the child.

Not to get overly wordy, but both parents were at the final custody hearing. When they broke for lunch, the mother went and got the child. When the judge found out, he personally called the school, but was informed that 10 minutes previously, the mother had taken the child out of school.

That's it in a nutshell. The father went along with the mother having custody, as long as he could visit the child on a regular basis -- numerous times per week. But most of the time she found some reason for Jonathan not to visit with the father, or found some excuse to shorten the visit.

It was a bad situation that just got worse. There's a lot more to this, but I don't want to mention it here -- as a 3rd person in all of this, just making this alert posting, I don't feel it's my place to divulge a lot of personal information.

But thanks again for the prayers, daybreakcoming. Like I said I'll let them know.

Hi Spunky. It is a bit confusing, but she was the custodial parent until they went through another court battle as she was playing games and keeping the father from seeing the boy. The father spent a lot of money for legal proceedings, continually trying to show the court that all his efforts to see his boy were being thwarted. After many months, and much money, as I mentioned to daybreaking, above, the child was abducted at the beginning of March, ironically, during lunch of the court hearing where the Judge gave custody to the Father.

Not sure the date the check was cashed in El Monte, but she did have custody of the child, so that's where that bit of information comes from.

I know it's confusing and I only have limited time to post, so sometimes I leave a gap or two. I just don't want to get too wordy as the important thing is to find the boy, and not air the dirty laundry of the two parents. But I know that sometimes it helps to know a bit of the background. But I don't want to talk about it too much.

But I want to thank everybody who is taking the time to be extra eyes out there. From the Father and Grandparents, prayers are being returned to you for your efforts and they are very thankful for what you are doing.
