PROJECT ANNOYING EMPATHY FOR TERRI SCHIAVO
FreepinForTerri (a.k.a. Jacque from Texas)

Posted on 04/22/2004 1:43:00 PM PDT by FreepinforTerri

Terri Schiavo has not had visitors in 24 days. Terri has also been held prisoner in a single hospice room, unable to go outside for 1,473 days. Seeing those numbers really hit home with me. So I called Governor Bush. I said, "Terri Schiavo has not had visitors in 24 days. She's been imprisoned in her room for 1,473 days. She's a prisoner and she's in danger. Have the Governor or DCF take guardianship of her." Tomorrow I will call the Governor's office again and say, "Terri Schiavo has not had visitors in 25 days. She's been imprisoned in her room for 1,474 days. She's a prisoner and she's in danger. Have the Governor or DCF take guardianship of her." And so begins Project Annoying Empathy. Everyday I'm going to call the Governor's office and remind them how long Terri's been mistreated. I'll remind them that although they will allowed go outside today and they may see their loved ones, Terri will not. She's not a patient. She's a prisoner. She's in danger. She need the Governor's assistance to reclaim her rights as a human being. I am going to call them everyday. I've said my thank yous with all my heart to the Governor for Terri's Law, but there's a clause in that law for guardianship. He needs to use it. Who knows what stunts Michael might pull next. Any of you that want to join me, come on! The Governor's office number is 850-488-4441. Yes, this is a tad ridiculous, but so is allowing a disbled woman to be locked up like a criminal. It might not accomplish anything, but I can't just continue to do nothing. Maybe the numbers will strike a chord. Either way, it will remind the Governor's office daily that today is yet another day that Terri is being held hostage. <>< FreepinForTerri a.k.a Jacque From Texas

As always, thanks for the ping.

...and out-of-control U.S. Catholic Bishops overrun by the loony left.

Recently, the Pope specifically said that it is immoral to withhold nourishment and hydration to anyone who is debilitated, and not dying. I haven't heard anything from the Bishop of Terri's diocese, or the Bishops of Florida. I think I'll pay a visit to the diocesan website....

For the record, no updates related to the Pope's statement, on either the Diocese of St. Petersburg, or the Florida Bishops Conference.

BTW, there are many "Pleas for Mercy," requesting stays of execution. They couldn't do a "Plea for Mercy" on Terri's behalf, however.

Dear President Bush:

I sit here in the wee hours of the morning at an impasse. I am a
Registered Nurse, a mother, and an American citizen. I struggle
with how to begin this story. Not because I don't know what to say,
or because I am at a loss for words. I struggle because I want so
much to choose the correct words so the person who first reads your
mail will be motivated to bring my letter directly to you. I
suppose all I can do at this point, is to pray they will do so.

Mr. President, before I expound upon why I am writing to you, I want
you to know a little about me. First off, I am a Registered
Nurse. I am a nurse who maintains neutral and unbiased ground
because of all who I have cared for in my many years as a nurse. I
am a nurse who dedicated years of my life to helping people like
you, your wife, your children, your parents, your friends and
neighbors. I take pride in who I am as a person and in how my
parents have raised me. They taught me to have morals, values, and
strong principles. To be a good citizen. To help those in need.
They taught me to recognize right from wrong. They taught me to
live within the laws of our country, to work hard and to respect
others. They taught me to seek out the law when I observe something
that is wrong. And, they taught me where to go if I should need help
from the law.

However, Mr. President, for the first time in my 50 years on this
earth, I am struggling because I cannot exercise the lessons my
parents spent years teaching me. I say this to you, because I am
witnessing a heinous crime being committed before my very own eyes
and I don't know how to help, or how to stop it.
Why can I not help, you may ask? Because despite the crime being
committed in Florida, no one here within the law is willing to
listen, help, or do anything to stop it.

Mr. President, there is a young disabled woman here in Florida who I
know you are familiar with. Her name is Terri Schindler - Schiavo.
I know you are aware of her name because your brother tried to help
her. Despite his awareness of wrong doings, his efforts to help her
have been thwarted and ignored by 2 local judges. His attempts to
help her in his role as Governor have also been undermined. I
cannot imagine how it would feel to be a Governor and to have two
local judges and one local lawyer, basically treat you with no more
respect or dignity than they do to the average citizen.

President Bush...because I know you are already aware of the
situation here in Florida, I will spare you a repeat of all the
details. What has motivated me to write to you during this early
morning, is that I happened to see a picture of you on the Internet
visiting MLK's grave site. Your picture inspired me to ask you to
PLEASE come to Florida and visit Terri Schiavo. She, as a disabled
American citizen is in desperate need of the support and help from
her President.

You know Mr. President......it is kind of funny my sitting here
asking you to come and visit Terri. I say funny, because a thought
just crossed my mind. Terri, as you know, is held hostage like a
prisoner on death row. She is not permitted to leave her room at
all. Not even permitted to feel a ray of sunshine on her skin. She
is not allowed to have visitors to her room. Not even her mother,
father, brother, or her sister. A uniformed police officer stands
guard at Terri's door. When the Schindler's were allowed to visit
their daughter over two weeks ago, they were watched constantly by
him. Prior to entering their daughter's room, they had to stop and
show their driver's license to reveal and prove their identity.
Terri is not permitted to have flowers or cards in her room. She is
not allowed therapy or social interactions of any kind. A while
ago, her mother wanted to take her in a wheelchair down to the
activity room in the facility to see an exotic bird show, but her
request were denied.

Can you believe what you are reading? It is TRUE! This type of
treatment is going on here in the United States of America? The
country where you hold office as a President!

Let me tell you, as a citizen it is difficult enough to digest these
facts, but as a nurse who has been licensed and trained to care for
patient's, it's beyond what words can convey. Essentially, Dear
President, it is unfathomable!

My funny thought was.... even if you as the President of the United
States would take the time to come and visit her, you might not be
allowed in to see Terri. Her estranged husband does not have you on
the list of visitors and he is very strict about who Terri is
permitted to see. So, it is indeed possible that even you as
President of the United States of America might be turned away like
everyone else has been. Silly notion Sir, but very real!

Thousands upon thousands of American citizens have been trying to
help the Schindler's and their daughter. We now need to elicit your
help. There are no words that could better describe what is
happening here than the pain in the eyes of the mother in this photo:

I have met and have come to know the Schindler's very well. I have
spent hours upon hours reading the entire Schindler-Schiavo case and
talking to them. They are good people, kind people. People who you
as President would be proud to say are American citizens. They have
raised their children very much like you and I were raised by our
folks. They are hard working, respectable, loving Catholic family.
They have never done anything to break the law.

If for no other reason Mr. President, please come here to Florida to
talk to the Schindler's. Allow them and all of us to know that you
care and can recognize the pain, torture and anguish they are
experiencing as they are forced to watch the daily neglect of their
daughter. A disabled daughter who needs medical care and therapy.

Please, we beg you to come and see for yourself.

Respectfully,
Cheryl Ford RN

1. J.E. Craddock DDS Tampa, Florida 33611 -- I motion the above
letter.

2 Richard J. Ford , Kirkland, Washington Do what is needed
President Bush!

3. Robert and Ila Swan Vacaville, California
The actions taken against Terri by Michael & Mr. Felos, violates not
only our Constitution but goes against Human Rights and it's in
total disregard for the laws of our nation. It amount to nothing
other than legalized murder.

4 Sylvia Panetta, Middletown, NY - What is taking so long for the
court to do the correct thing? What is taking so long for the
system to correct the court's blatant disregard for the law?5.
Gilbert Brandt, Middletown, NY

5. Marge Weems, In California we cannot even put a gravestone on our
murdered son's grave, even tho he was not married to the woman who
had his child and got his $160,000. insurance. She wanted him gone,
and is too cheap to mark his grave and his parents cannot.
California law prohibits it. What are these laws against parents?

6. Sandra Merry, Los Angeles, CA - Sir, your efforts on Terri's
behalf were as bold as they were inspirational. Please do not
abandon Terri now, but use your Office to see that she receives
proper, positive care and therapy. While our legal system is in
place to (hopefully) protect us, the Law can also be abused, mis-
used, and implemented overzealously. It should be created with
wisdom, upheld with fairness, and implemented with mercy. The System
has failed Terri Schindler-Schiavo.

7. The Jim & Sheree Lally Family of 27 in Louisville, KY. (I am
signing this for ourselves, our eight children, their spouses and
children.) ** Your election, President Bush, was confirmed by the
Florida Supreme Court on December 12, the Feast day of Our Lady of
Guadalupe, Patroness of the Unborn and Patroness of the Americas, -
after prayer vigils all over the country asked Our Lady of Guadalupe
to make you our President because of your firm stand for life. We
helped organize the prayer vigils at the courthouse steps in
Louisville and placed it under the protection of The Virgin of
Guadalupe whose image was with child. The December 12th decision
told us loudly and clearly that your election was from Heaven and
that you were given a mission from God. Please make the life of
Terri Schiavo part of this mission. Thank you.

8.Jan Howard - Louisiana - I fear the legal murder of this woman
will set a precedence that might affect all of our future lives, and
agree that Governor Bush needs all the help he can get from you,
Sir, and all of us, to overcome the evil forces at work against him
in merely trying to save Terri's life without overstepping the
boundaries of Florida's legal system. It is even frustrating to me,
a total stranger to this family, to see how Terri's husband can
flagrantly refuse to comply with everything the courts have ordered
of him, and I find it absolutely ridiculous that Terri's immediate
family can actually be denied access to even visiting her. Thank
you, in advance. I think you are a WONDERFUL President!!...and, as
in the first election, you already have my vote in Louisiana.

9. Ed and Mari Koch-- Ramona, Oklahoma--- Mr. President,
Please ..we beg you to help this dear, innocent woman who suffers
terribly..

10. Linda Stovall Craig, Missouri...LIFE is a precious gift, given
by a mother and a father and God and let no man before them take it
away!!!!

11.Patricia A. Deckon, Texarkana, TX, time is of the essence. God
bless you

12. Susan Henson, Springfield, IL. I, too, am a disabled woman who
was once in a so-called "vegetative-state" and who now works for the
government, Mr. President. Please, please, please go and visit
Terri and see for yourself what her condition really is before you
allow anyone to determine her future. I'm forever grateful that my
family stood by my side through my 5 month coma and never gave up
hope nor allowed anyone to interfere in my recovery!

20. Harry and Angie Harsh, Hagerstown, Md. 21742 Mr. President, we
have battled the issue of abortion for years, this will be the next
issue, euthanasia. It must stop here. We do not starve and
dehygerate people in America, no matter what their physcial or
mental condition. This is not about the right to die, this is about
a court ordered killing, and a slow and painful death at that. It
must not be allowed to happen.

Mr. President, why has a Govenor the right to pardon a condemned
murderer and not the right to preserve the life of an innocent

30. Gordon Wayne "GW" Watts, Lakeland, FLA here:
Mr. President, you may ask your brother, John Ellis "Jeb" Bush & his
legal team to confirm my lawsuits seeking enforcement of State &
FEDERAL laws, which prohibit Theresa "Terri" Schiavo from being
detained in a hospice, due to the fact she isn't terminal within
State & FEDERAL guidelines; Also, I seek enforcement of State &
FEDERAL laws that make it a **felony** hello?! to deny medical
treatment, therapy, rehab, food, & water to elderly/disabled. NOTE:
I said "food," not feeding tube. Besides being illegal, it's
immoral. See eg Matthew 25:41-46; Proverbs 24:11-12; & Proverbs 31:8-
9. God is on our side, & we're on HIS side.** Earth Calling GW Bush
** ARE YOU ON OUR SIDE? (If so, please enforce the law, as
USA's "top cop.") PS: Plz don't be afraid to look at thoz Bible vrss
above;

31.James Palmer, Bonsall, CA. Mr. President, I don't spend much
time on items that are not my business. In this case, how can
anyone say it is not their business? I believe you, Sir, are a
compassionate and caring person. Additionally, you are the
President and the actions in this case I find offensive to my
citizenship, my moral understanding and all concepts of nature and
judgment. What I don't understand is why this extreme measure is
necessary, in the land of the free and the brave, to get a right
decision in this case. How are judges allowed, even for a moment,
to extend themselves above the law, whether spiritual or carnal?
Judgment is amiss. Show me a difference in Terri's life than that
of people condemned to the chambers discovered in Iraq. Please put
as much effort toward stopping the terrorizing of this girl and all
of her loved ones.

32. Betty Furey, Nashua, NH--Mr. President, please help Terri.
Terri's treatment, or one could say "lack thereof" is a tragedy for
Terri and her family. Her so-called husband is a snake. Atty.
Felos-- another snake. Terri deserves to be watched over by her
family not by venomous snakes in human skin.

33. Eric Paulos, Los Angeles, California PLEASE HELP TERRI,
PRESIDENT BUSH, SHE NEEDS YOUR HELP

34. Cynthia L. Caron, Londonderry, New Hampshire ...GIVE TERRI BACK
TO HER PARENTS! Owner/Group Leader: Email: Fight4terri08@aol.com

35. Janet Goulet, Middleburg, Florida...Please Mr. President help
Terri Schiavo. She is at risk to be executed by her husband legally
in this state. This should not be allowed in our great country.
Please take this challenge. Thank you

36. Patricia Chic, Millsboro, DE....19966

37. Ron & Chris Morasse, Bethpage NY 11714 Please do some thing to
help this woman and her parents

38.George and Shirley Hughes, North Carolina. Mr. President, I
don't have much more to say than the other people signing this.
This case is unbelievable. In the three years I have kept up with
this case not one time to my knowledge has anything favorable been
granted the Schindlers through the courts. Michael Schiavo, Terri's
husband, was ordered in 1996 by the courts to write letters to all
nursing homes in which Terri resides giving his permission to inform
her parents any health changes with her. He has broken the law and
gotten away with it. Just recently he her caregivers NOT to give
any information to her parents.
This is a long, difficult case. I have three grown daughters and
just like the Schindlers, 13 years ago when Terri collapsed, they
trusted Michael with all their heart to take care of their daughter
just as I would if something happened to one of mine. However,
something happened about ten years ago and everything changed. He
began denying Terri of any rehab and even tried to intervene on her
getting the medical treatment she needed for a urinary tract
infection. One of my daughters, who is now an attorney, once worked
for the local Domestic Shelter in our town as the Court Advocate.
From all I have "witnessed" about Michael Schiavo he is a very
controlling man. In my opinion, it's going to be his way or no way.
We know you are an extremely busy man. After all, you are the
President of the United States. You are in the middle of
campaigning for your next term as president, and even more
importantly you are busy, to say the least, with the war effort.
However, if you have just a few minutes to spare on one of your
trips to Florida we beseech you to visit Terri.

39. Courtney Ford, Issaquah, Washington 98027 -- President Bush, my
vote will be yours once you help Terri.

40.Wanda Canaday, Active Voter in Orange Park, Florida- Mr.
President, As the media explodes with news of terrorism about death
and torture in a far away land, what's overlooked is what is
happening right here in our Homeland. In view of the injustices
surrounding the court ordered treatment -and- court ordered lack of
treatment of Terri Schindler-Schiavo, is no different than the
terrors unleashed by a madman. While our servicemen & women fight
for the freedom of others in a far away land, freedom.. The Natural
Rights of Man, is withheld right here in our own country. Planned
starvation and dehygeration against anyone is torture, and
ultimately death by murder. Terri Schindler-Schiavo has commited no
crime and is in real danger of receiving a death sentence. She
should not be murdered right here in America by our own judges who
portray by past rulings that they are above the law. I applaud your
decision recently on protecting the unborn. Please close the gap by
taking the next step to 'seal the deal' and protect the ones already
born who cannot protect themselves. They need you. Terri needs you.
Please protect her. Please.

41.Joe Juneman, Montana by the silence of the citizens, the Nazis
were allowed to murder millions. Now, in the U.S.A., thousands are
being starved and dehydrated to death. Law enforcement is turning a
blind eye. Here is your opportunity to be a hero. If the right-to-
die people prevail, Terri's precedent would be horrific.
Even the Pope states removing feeding tube is immoral.

42. Margaret Juneman, D.C. As Chief Executive of Florida, your
brother Jeb Bush has authority to enforce the laws of Florida. He
could investigate what caused Terri's massive injuries while she was
home alone with her husband, Michael Schiavo. He could investigate
the on-going conspiracy of Michael Schiavo, his attorneys, and the
judges to commit murder and to withhold legally required care for
Terri, a disabled woman. You could enforce the federal disability
laws. She needs to be taken into protective custody, preferally in
the home of her loving parents. You did it for Jessica Lynch. You
need to do it for Terri Schiavo.

43. Edward T. Walford Jr. ,Alachua, Florida
Mr. President, we who oppose this court-ordered abuse of Terri
Schiavo and the outrageous treatement of the Schindlers, her family,
beg and implore you to act immediately, using whatever necessary
power at your command, to rescue this innocent from the hands of the
so-called husband who has appropriated her money in a multiyear
attempt to have her legally killed. We know you as a man and a
leader unafraid to do what is right. I know your conscience tells
you that this is the right thing to do. Please help, now, before it
is too late. Please.

44.Kimberly DeAngelis ( Sr Brigid ) Wheeling, W.Virginia

45.Jackie Doucette, Largo, Florida Please help us, President
Bush. An innocent woman's life is at stake. We need you!

46.Diane Robertson, Florida. Dear President George Bush, Show all
Americans and especially Florida's voters that you "really care" for
life. All Pro Life Voters are watching your actions and/or public
statements of support to the national media through a Presidential
Press
Release in support for Terri's release to protect this valuable life
and
her immediate medical treatment and rehabilitation.

47. John Schestag, The Salvation Navy, Ozona, Florida.
President Bush, When Pinellas County's "pro choice/death" husband,
his
lawyers and judges can take Terri hostage and torture her publicly in
Florida, then they are far far worse than any Al Quida style
kidnapping
to further their same terrorist's acts to murder Terri. Terri's "9-
11"
took place many many years ago and she survived the attack! "Please"
visit Terri like you did the troops in Iraq and the citizens at the
World Trade Center and immediately order her release from her cruel
isolation, torture and captivity after so many years. Jeb needs your
"immediate help" as these corrupt judges are just "publicly mocking
him". "If you want to", you can pick up that phone right next to you
"now" and save Terri's life. Please protect and support your brother
and Terri's life and her human rights.

48. Ed and Margaret Massey, Jacksonville, Florida... For Cheryl
Ford's stated reasons, I endorse her request. I sincerely believe
God has a significant purpose for this beautiful young lady, which
is not yet fulfilled. According to a recently discovered bone scan,
dated 1991, noting debilitating "Compression Fractures" throughout
her tiny body, Terri surely has been living with unbearable pain
through these past 14 years, as well as, emotional pain - due to
these unfathomable circumstances. Yet, she manages to muster a
beautiful smile and interact when greeted by loved ones - who she
knows truly love her. Please Mr. President, Terri needs your
support, NOW. Time is of essence! Thank you, I know you will not
let this lovely women and her supports down.

49. Lynn Vauiso. 65th Ave. N. St. Petersburg Florida . 33702.

50. Kimberlee Dallaire, Pasco Washington
Please Mr. President, give aide to Terri and her dear mother and
father. They need hope, we need hope.

51. Laura Huffstetler, Special Education Teacher, Gastonia, NC
Mr. President, I have been a supporter of yours and I now ask that
you support Terri in her fight for survival. Please don't allow
this attrocity to continue.

52.Jean & Joe Smith, Stevens, Pennsylvania---Dear Mr. President, in
Jesus name, Please help this helpless young woman! She is certainly
a fighter, but she can only fight for so long!! God bless you and be
with you always......you are a wonderful President!!!! Thank you!!

53.Bobbette Madonna and family of 33, Birch Bay, WA 98230 - Mr.
President, as a disabled 64 year old woman that but for the Grace of
God could be in Terri's situation, I beg you to stop the efforts of
the Florida legal system's agenda to bring about legalized killing
of the disabled, elderly and infirmed (Hemlock Society). The
lawyers, judges and Terri's jailer have an evil agenda. You and your
brother can stop this madness - just as you are doing in Iraq.
Please, in the name of Jesus Christ, intervene in this madness. Save
this woman from the law that has gone mad. Take a stand as if it
were your child. Give this child back to her parents, please. Enough
is enough!

54.Jenna Sutter, Crown Point, IN---Please help Terri to live and
make her parents gaurdian.

55.Sylvia Scott----Pinellas Park, Florida--Mr. President, please
have someone check into Judge Greer and his rulings. They are not
understood by many Americans.

56.Woody and Sonja Woodbury - Heredia, Costa Rica

57. Mary Ann Kreitzer, President Les Femmes Woodstock, VA.
www.lesfemmes-thetruth.org. Our organization has fought for the
rights of Terri Schiavo and all disabled citizens being denied their
rights by illegitimate courts. Judge Greer and Judge Baird should
be impeached. Terri is being neglected and abused by her guardian
and needs government intervention to defend her rights. Please,
President Bush, take action on this case.

58.Kevin, Becky, Natalie and Abigail Mullaney - Colorado
Please help Terri live! Her life is precious and shouldn't be the
subject of so much controversy, but it is. As you have stated
repeatedly about the war on terrorism, it is about good and evil,
plain and simple. Let good prevail...please help Terri! God bless
you!

59. Justin Ford...Phoinex, Arizona. I'm beginning medical school in
a few months. I hope that I will never have to see a patient in
Terri's situation and not be allowed to provide to her the very best
of medical care. Please help!

60.Paul Timmerman, 719 Sunny Pine Way B-1 Greenacres, FL 33415
Dear Mr. President: Please see what you can do to asist Terri S.
Brother Jeb has done a fantastic job. He is in the courts fighting
for Terri. There has to be Federal Intervention NOW! What, I do
not know. But I can tell you this she has no rights. All of her
rights are being removed By Judge Greer, and her estranged husband
Michal. If Terri were a dog, the SPCA would remove her to a better
envioroment. The U.S. Constitution protects Terri! Please give her
the protection!

61. Marcia Weisz, Lemoore, CA: This is urgent! It must be
stopped. You, Mr. President and your brother have the authority to
get this stopped immediately. It is so painful to me in keeping
informed of this case, that evil is still getting the upper hand in
the abuse of the legal system, while a poor innocent life and her
family languishes. I admire and respect all you have done. The one
responsible for all of this should be investigated and prosecuted
regardless of the evil abuses of the law there. It is obvious to
me, that this is an attempted murder. The motives are too obvious.
God's grace and prayers to Terri and her family who are often in my
thoughts

62. Greg Carroll, California.

63. Constance Panos, California. President Bush, Please intervene
to save Terri Schiavo's life.

64.Judy Greer Tampa, Florida Cheryl has done all that can possibly
be done at the grass roots level for Terri. Sir, may we impose upon
you to add some "muscle" from the top to free this woman from this
ultimately murderous situation...Thank you.

65 Shari and Travis Mongold, Carolina Beach, NC; Dear President
Bush, In almost every state there are laws to protect animals. If
someone neglects or mistreats a horse or a dog they can be punished
as a criminal. Why would Terri's life be treated with less respect
than a dog? Why isn't her husband punished as a criminal for her
neglect and abuse? Why would any judge endorse starvation as a means
of death when it is considered inhumane and criminal to do so to a
dog? How can this happen in America??

66. Jan Dunn, La Quinta, California. Please help protect and defend
someone who cannot defend herself. She needs a hero.

67.Miles & Terri DeRushe, Camano Island, Wa.
Dear Mr. President how long will corrupt judges be allowed to rule
our country? They ignore the very laws the are sworn to uphold!

68.Penny Patterson, Dallas, TX....President Bush, I motion the above
request.

69.Janet Northcutt Lowell, IN.
Please change the laws and let Terri live. GOD bless you!

70. Suzanne Beck, Birmingham, Alabama--Please Stand Up for Terri!!

72. Noel and Cindy Martinez, Massapequa , New York.
Dear Mr. President: Jesus is crying out in this age for mercy! May
Our Lady of Guadalupe guide you in your decisions for the unborn and
the little; those who society deems "useless". Abortion and
euthanasia subvert the sanctity of life and God pleads with America
to uphold the sanctity of life at all costs. As Pope John Paul II
stated, " America if you want peace defend life!" Thank you, Mr.
President we will pray for you.

73. David Dallaire, Pasco Wa. Please do what you can.

74. Nancy Kramer, PO Box 2525 Pinellas Park, FL 33780
LOCAL,STATE & FEDERAL LAWS HAVE BEEN VIOLATED. I think this is a
conspiracy to commit murder in addition to a RICOH ACT matter. If
this isn't racketeering and grand larceny, JUST CLOSE THE FBI.
They've missed this one too.

75.Tammy Gadbois, New Lisbon, WI - Mr. President, as a speech-
language pathologist I am working with other TBI patients who are
less responsive than Terri. This is no less than abuse, neglect and
(so far) attempted murder.
Please take action to stop this.

76. Bill & Judy Lambright, Greenville, SC : Mr. President, we are
sure you will be in Florida in this election year. When you come,
please give attention to the plight of Terri Schiavo! What if she
were one of your beautiful daughters? What if Michael Schiavo were
your son-in-law? What would you do as a father? We hope you will
do the right thing as President and give this young disabled woman a
chance to be cared for by
those who love her. We will be watching and praying for you!

77. Margaret T. Roth, West Columbia, SC

78. Veronica Marek - El Campo, TX I am a legal guardian for my
brother. The court has made it very plain to me that every thing I
do is for his best interest only, or this right will be taken away.
Why is this corrupt judge and Florida court allowing this woman to
be continually abused. Please step in and stop this horrific
situation.

79Jim Brandner 6820 Sunnyslope Drive Maple Grove MN. 545311763-383-

Dear President George Bush, I am writing this letter to voice my
concern over Terri Schiavo. Terri is in need of help. What is
happening to Terri has overreaching
implications/consequences for us all and the country as well. It is
also
cruel and inhumane. I know you are a good man with a good heart, so
I trust that you will give Terri the assistance that your power
allows. I am grateful for your brother
Jeb's help in this matter. If Terri is to have any chance in life,
she will
need to have some changes in her life and the sooner the better. If
left as
is-or worse, Terri will not have a chance at continuing her life and
recovery. Thank you and God bless you!

80. Del Bertschy, Peoria, IL

81. Denise & Thomas Melly and Family, Forked River, New Jersey:
Dear Mr. President: Please find it in your heart to take the time to
help Terri who is at the mercy of the court, a court that does not
seem to have her best interests at heart. Disabled people have
rights too, please see to it that Terri's rights are protected.
This is an innocent woman caught in a web of controversy; Please be
her advocate and keep her safe; don't let the courts put her to
death like a common criminal. Thank You for your time.

82. Claire Hanover , P. O. Box 1071 Santa Monica, Ca. 90406

83. Ashli McCall and Family of Quincy, FL:
Dear Mr. President, I went 11 weeks without eating or drinking and
required TPN tube feedings/hydration for a pregnancy-related disease
(severe hyperemesis gravidarum). Before I finally got life-
sustaining treatment, I was very dehydrated and malnourished. In
short, it hurts to starve. When we have the capability to keep Terri
alive (and no proof that she wishes not to be alive) then why is
the "option" of killing her even being entertained? Michael Schiavo
has two children with the woman he has been living with for years.
He is not living as a Christian and obviously no longer wants to be
married to Terri (however, he does want her big, fat death check).
Husbands like Michael are not always husbands, but Terri's parents
will always be her parents and they deserve the right to protect
their child when someone, who is not living up to the marriage
promise, is trying to kill her. Please help Terri and her parents,
and in doing so, help us all. Thank you for BEING pro-life!

84.Colleen Murray, Tampa, Florida. Do the right thing, Mr.
President. Terri has the right to live, to enjoy the love and care
of her family, to be treated as a human being with dignity, and to
enjoy the inalienable rights endowed by God to life, liberty and
happiness. Are judges above the law? Who can hold them accountable?

85.Leah Powers RN 21645 24th Ave.Conklin, MI 49403 (616)899-xxxx

86. Gilbert Brandt, Middletown, NY

87. Kristina Petras, Broomall, PA 19008

88. Don and Patricia Allen, Lufkin, Texas We speak for a family
with 7 children, 27 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren (and
counting), plus their spouses. What is being allowed to happen is
totally beyond belief. To deny her that which is the substance of
life, that being food and water, can only be called premeditated
murder. If those two can be denied, why not just put a pillow over
her face, and deny her the third element necessary for life, that
being oxygen? Or would that be considered murder? What is the
difference? One just takes longer than the other. PLEASE HELP
HER. No doubt, it will help all of us in the future since it could
be expected that this is just the beginning.
We are your staunch supporters.

89. Trina McWhorter, Kennewick, Washington
Dear President Bush, please take this into serious consideration,
this poor lady and her family need your help!!! they have been
fighting sooooo hard. Help justice be served.

90.David and Donna Zirkle South Charleston , West Virginia
Dear President Bush: I am sure that you are somewhat aware of
Terri's plight, as your brother is the Governor of Florida. Let me
remind you that she is a severely disabled woman being held captive
by a private Hospice organization. Her estranged husband is living
with another woman and has fathered two children by her. His
attorney, who is becoming famous as the right to die attorney, has
ties with the above mentioned Hospice. This is a case of domestic
terrorism against a truly vulnerable woman. Her husband wishes to
starve and dehydrate her to death and the attorney and the courts
are agreeing that this is the most humane way to end her life. I
believe that you are a Christian and I implore you to step in and
make the plight of this poor woman an issue. You as the leader of
the most powerful nation in the world have the power to stop the
torture of this young woman. She has loved ones willing to step in
and care for her because they love her unconditionaly. She will not
be a burden to anyone. She has not had therapy for many years and
deserves the chance to improve if that is possible. Please step
in if you can and please encourage your brother to stop this abuse
immediately. This case may set a dangerous precedent that impacts
the most vulnerable all across our nation. Thank you for taking
the time to consider the requests of many people from all walks of
life regarding this young woman.

91. Deborah Chriestenson 1601 Ash Neosho Falls, KS 66758
As a nurse, I believe, as Cheryl Ford does, when it comes to Terri
Schiavo. Why would the courts allow Terri to be "allowed" to die,
when these are Michael Schiavo's sentiments, not Terri's? Why is
Jack Kevorkian sitting in prison when he "helped" people die, yet
Michael Schiavo has not even been questioned as to the mysterious
circumstances surrounding Terri's collapse? Something is definately
wrong with the Court system when they allow a man who is "engaged"
to another woman and has fathered children with said woman, while
still retaining the right to be a guardian to a woman who is simply
being fed via a feeding tube. This in itself is a conflict of
interest and definately does not show that he could possibly have
Terri's best interests at heart.

92. Angela Oliver, Brownstown, Michigan. This is unbelievable to me
in the USA that a couple judges and lawyers, & adulterous husband
can have such a strong hold over the life of this disabled women and
then be allowed to torment her! She has a loving mother and father
fighting for her everyday and the biggest fighter is Terri herself.
Does that sound like she wants to die??? Please help her and be her
voice!!!

93. Joan Piwowar, Brandon FL

94. H. Robert Strom State of residence: Michigan. Brief
comments: Dear Mr. President: There exists in Florida an innocent
but very much alive woman who, without accusation, trial or
conviction is essentially sentenced to die unless someone with your
stature and power of office intervenes as soon as possible. She has
already survived one effort to be put to death. Please help.
Sincerely, H. Robert Strom

95. Judi Trybula from Chicago, Il; please Mr. President help this
poor unfortunate woman. Her right to life, liberty and pursuit of
happiness(even in her inhibited state) are being snatched away from
her. Please, please Mr. President help her.

96. Sarah Grant , Minnesota---
Dear Mr. President, As someone who has gotten numerous people to
vote for you in your very close election four years ago and led many
prayer groups for your
victorious win, I am here to ask that you return the favor. A simple
act of humanity and charity. Help poor Terri Shavio attain the human
rights, freedom and treatment that she deserves. I have cheered you
on as you have heroicly stood up for life, liberty and justice in
numerous ways. PLEASE do not stop now!!!
A very aware and horribly suffering young lady is desparetly
awaiting your help. Terri Shavio's very life is in your hands, Mr.
President. Please do the the right thing, the moral and humane thing
and intervene so that she can be let out of her literal "prison" and
get the help that she wants and deserves. The kind of life her
parents want so much to give her, and one in which her husband wants
to end. He has proven
that he can lie, manipulate and shatter the lives of so many. Please
don't let him be able to do it anymore.Mr. President, it is time to
show this country that there still is some faith, hope and charity
left in this terror-raviged world. You can be the one to set things
straight with God and with man. It is not too late and I know your
brother is on your side along with millions of Christians throughout
the US and the world. Terri's life and physical state is closely
watched and prayed for by countless people that are
waiting for a knight in shining armor to end this battle once and
for all. We will be your backup and will ALL help you put on your
coat of armor. Godspeed the victory!!
Thank you for your time and may GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

97 Tom Damron, Silver Springs, Florida---
Like the Shindler's, I would do everything in my power to prevent
someone else from taking my daughter's life, I can't imagine you
wouldn't do the same. So,Mr. President,STEPUP, and use your power to
insure this can never happen to your girls.

98.Bonnie Colgan Lothian MD , Please help!!

99. Karen Bright, Hiram, Ohio

100. John Bright, Burton, Ohio

101.Dolores Newland, Nicholasville, Kentucky: Mr. President, no
one, not even a family member should have the right to terminate
anyone else without the written permission of the individual. Else,
the standards that the United States stands for "Life, Liberty and
Pursuit of Happiness" mean nothing. Thank you sir.

102. Ginny Freitas, Kentucky --Dear President Bush,
As I type this I have tears in my eyes and pray that you'll come to
the rescue/defense of Terri Schindler-Schiavo!! From all I hear
about you you're a wonderful Christian man who believes in God and
I'm trussing that it's your Faith that will propel you to move to
help Terri!! She's being treated SO inhumanely by the man who's
her legal husband. This same man, who claims to want what's best
for Terri, is living against so many of God's Commandments all the
while keeping her family from caring for her. PLEASE, Sir, do the
right thing, as a Christian who follows Jesus, and help this woman
have the type of life that God wants her to have!! I know your
brother has tried to help her and has been stonewalled. I thank him
for his efforts!! I'll continue to pray that Terri will be granted
on Earth what God wants for her!! Thank you for your
consideration!! I'll be praying that this letter reaches you and
that you'll act upon it!!

103. Sandra Maguire Dublin, Ireland
Message: Dear Mr President, Please help your brother in his quest to
help save Terri Schiavo. Don't let a greedy husband starve his wife
to death. Please.

104.Gilma Elena Espinal, Phillipsburg, NJ....Mr. President, please
show
that you care and take action

105. Fabiola Espinal, Phillipsburg, NJ...Mr. President, I am a nurse
too
and like Cheryl I cannot stand this situation anymore! Plese go and
see for yourself!

106. Linda Ball, rn,c, easton, pa. this situation warrents further >
investigation and intervention to remedy the neglect of this
comatose woman. she is being deprived of positive stimulation,
which would make her remaining days on this earth more pleasant. i
can only imagine how sad and frightening this experience must be
for this woman!! as for her concerned family, they must be going
through a living hell!
i am appalled that this is permitted and surely this is in
violation of her human rights!!!

107.Maxine Friedman, Brooklyn, NY
Dear Mr. President: Thank God for your faithful brother Gov. Jeb
Bush, who is already directly involved in the battle to rescue Terri
Schiavo from her scheming husband, et.al. Please go to Florida
with all the prestige inherent in your high office. I know you
serve The same Great God I serve, and plead with you in His Name to
please use your authority to take away the guardianship of Terri's
estranged husband Terri over her. Aside from the numerous
conflicts of interests incompatible with Michael Schiavo continuing
to be the guardian over this handicapped (and utterly helpless)
woman, Schiavo clearly does not have the best interests of his
neglected and abused wife. She was, and continues to be, in great
danger of unnecessarily losing her life; because that's the way
Michael Schiavo wants it. Please intervene and get Terri out of
her husband's death grip over her before it's too late. Thank you
so much! Shalom in our Wonderful Jewish Messiah Yeshua,

108 .Dan Finaldi. 40 South 4th Avenue Highland Park, New Jersey 08904
Please do all you can to help this poor woman and the family who
supports her. Please do all you can to reform the horrible system
which allows for a disabled woman to be left alone without any
support or assistance from her extended family. Please do all you
can to be truly pro-life.

109. Penny Mullins, Lexington KY
Mr. President, I have been so glad to have a "Christian" President.
I have told many people and will continue and hope that I will still
be able to feel this way after the November election. I have told
many people that disagree with decisions you have made that the need
to put themselves in your situation. I am asking now that you help
Terri in every way possible. Thank you

110. Mrs. Jenny Hainsworth Victoria, BC Canada
Dear President Bush, The Lord Jesus, the REAL Judge, will ask us on
the last day whether we visited Him when he was sick, in prison,
neglected, abused: "Inasmuch as you have done this to the least of
these my brethren, you have done it to me". If we ignore Terri's
plight and do not do all in our power to deliver her from her
tormentors (soon murderers) we are spitting in His very face and
leaving *Him*

111. Rosiland Jones, 9321 A. Loch Lea Lane, Louisville, KY 40291

112. Donald W. Johnson..... Mount Vernon, WA
Dear Mr. President, I endorse Cheryl Ford's letter wholeheartedly.
I have been following this case for the better part of a year. In
all of my 50 years on this planet, I have never seen such a blatant
miscarriage of justice - in full view of the entire nation. It is
my
opinion that the judiciary has conspired to suppress the truth in
this case. Mr. President, I strongly urge you to see to it that all
parties on the side of Michael Schiavo - himself included -
are
investigated for collusion, conspiracy, perjury, and any number of
other suspicious activities. From my observation, the life of Terri
Schindler-Schiavo is being manipulated by a series of "winks and
nods" to and from the bench. The mainstream media must also share in
the blame for continuing to spread misinformation on her true
condition. The shocking part is that without viewing the evidence,
the public is most likely going to believe what is being printed and
broadcast; that Terri is in a "persistent vegetative state."
Personally, I believe that a pile of rocks is more viable than Mr.
Schiavo or any one of his associates.

113. Claire Hanover , P. O. Box 1071 Santa Monica, Ca. 90406

114. Carole Kammer, Florida Please help this woman. Allowing her
death by starvation is allowing the courts to again usurp the power
of the legislature and the people and allow a single man (Judge
Greer) to determine public policy for an entire state (and possible
the entire nation).

115. Bonnie White, Texas Grandmother President Bush, Please help
Terri Schiavo by taking her out of custody of her husband and his
doctors and his friendly death judge. The only way she has a chance
for survival or improvement is to be put in the custody of her
parents or a third party not in anyway related to her husbands plans
for her burial. Her husbands position is compromised by his living
with another woman and having children with the other woman.
Obviously he did not meet his commitment to the jury that awarded
him money for rehabilitation. If we cannot save one disabled woman
in this country then that does not speak well for the rest of the
900,000 on feeding tubes. If this is the new American way of
treating our disabled then at what point do we begin the rest of
Hitlers perfect society. Thank you

116. Mary E. Burns, Michigan, How can we as human beings allow this
to continue?

117.. Carol Roper, London, England, UK. Don't let Terry die. I am
the mother of a child fed by gastrostomy. The idea that Terry's
right to nutrition and therefore life, can be decided by her
estranged husband who has shown nothing but indifference to her
needs, is abhorrent.

118. The DeRushe' Family Miles, Terry, Rochelle and Allison
We are a family of four: husband, wife, 2 daughters ages 18 and 15.
All
four of us plead with you to visit Terri and bring some action in
her favor.
She is a living human being with all the rights the rest of us
have.
Please do not let some "law" keep Terri from her rights, as well as
the
rights of her family to see her and care for her. We believe you
will act
upon this request in a way Jesus would should He Himself be here, so
we
thank you ahead of time for your compassion and decision in Terri's
favor.

119. Claudette Clark, Staten Island, New York
President Bush - Please help Terri - What would you do if were your
own daughter? PLEASE DO NOT ALLOW TERRI TO BE MURDERED - that is
just what this would be. Where do we go from here? What happens
next? Who are we to think we can take a life? There will be much
to answer for before God.

120. Sonnya Espinal, Arlington, MA, Mr. President, please make a
difference in this family's life.

121.CYNTHIA HORNE JACKSONVILLE, FLORIDA = DEAR MR. PRESIDENT:
THANK YOU FOR THE FINE JOB YOU ARE DOING AS PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED
STATES. YOU & YOUR FAMILY ARE IN MY THOUGHTS & PRAYERS EACH DAY.IT
IS ALSO CERTAINLY A PRIVILEDGE TO HAVE SUCH A WONDERFUL GOVERNOR AS
YOUR BROTHER FOR MY HOME STATE OF FLORIDA. IT IS MY HOPE & PRAYER
THAT YOU COULD OFFER SOME SUPPORT & ENCOURAGEMENT TO THE SCHINDLER
FAMILY. GOVERNOR BUSH IS TRYING HARD TO HELP BUT IT SEEMS THAT
JUDICIAL ACTIVISM HAS AFFECTED THIS CASE AS WELL AS SOME OF THE
ISSUES YOUR ADMINISTRATION IS DEALING WITH IN THE FEDERAL COURTS AS
WELL AS THE SUPREME COURT NOT TO MENTION THE ABSTRUCTION OF THE
IMPRESSIVE & QUALIFIED APPOINTMENTS YOU HAVE MADE. THE SCHINDLER'S
HAVE HAD SUCH A DIFFICULT SITUATION THAT COULD BE SO SENSIBLY
REMEDIED IF MICHAEL COULD GO ON WITH HIS LIFE SO THE SCHINDLER'S
COULD COMFORT & CARE FOR TERRI AS THEY ARE SO EAGER TO DO. AS A
FATHER OF TWO DAUGHTER'S , I AM SURE YOU WOULD FIND IT IMPOSSIBLE TO
FATHOM A SITUATION IN WHICH YOU WERE NOT ABLE BY A JUDGE'S FIAT TO
VISIT A DEAR FAMILY MEMBER IN THE HOSPITAL AND SEE THAT ONE'S NEEDS
ARE BEING MET. AS A CHRISTIAN WHO VALUES LIFE, I AM SURE YOU WOULD
NOT BE ABLE TO ABIDE BY SUCH A SITUATION. IT IS MY HOPE & PRAYER
THAT TERRI & HER FAMILY CAN BE RELIEVED OF THIS BURDEN OF A HUSBAND
ZEALOUSLY SEEKING HER DEATH. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN FOR BEING SUCH A
FINE PRESIDENT THAT SEEKS GOD'S WISDOM IN THE ENORMOUSLY IMPORTANT
DECISIONS YOU MAKE & DUTIES YOU PERFORM.

122. Maureen Patrick 1203 West Los Angeles Circle Broken Arrow,
OK 74011 Dear Mr. President: My heart, my prayers and my moral
being cry out for this young woman and for her life. Please save
her life and all the lives of those who cannot speak for
themselves. America needs to respect life in all forms.......from
the womb to the tomb. Thank you, Maureen Patrick

123. Jo Ann Plarr Willis Churchville Florida, PA
My son in law murdered my daughter. The rights of a mother should
supersede that of a husband. The guardianship of Terri's estranged
husband needs to be taken away from him. This will simplify
everything. All the loving Schindler family wants to do is to take
home their daughter and care for her the rest of their lives. Terri
would surely want to be with those that love her and not be put to
death. Judge Greer should have been and should be dismissed from
his position. He clearly abused his power by giving Terri's money
to Attorney Felos. Please Mr President act upon this situation
immediately. It WOULD be a plus in running for re-election also.

124. Karen Blakeney, 40 Old Oak Lane, Gulfport, Mississippi 39503

125. . Carol & Ben Rubright, Port Charlotte, Florida - Mr.
President, Please join your brother and help Terri! Give her back
to her parents who love her and have only her best interest at
heart. She is a living human being, albeit disabled, and does not
deserve to be treated this way. (We punish people who treat their
animals as the courts are treating Terri!) It is inhumane and this
injustice needs to stop. Her husband's sole purpose these days is
to cause his wife's death so that he can collect a big, fat death
benefit on which he and his girlfriend and two new kids can
comfortably live. It seems quite probable that he put Terri where
she is today and that reality needs to be proven one way or the
other. PLEASE HELP TERRI and her parents! They need you and your
brother's support. It is the right and Christian thing to do!!

126. Patricia A. Kolb, Wabasha, MN President Bush, I motion the
above request. God Bless You.

127. Bill Campbell Seattle, Wa. I hope and pray something can be
done to help Terri.

128. Barbara Becker, Indiana - I support the statement of Cheryl
Ford. Terri has not only been denied a right to "live", but a right
to have a full, impartial, independent investigation of ALL the
facts. Without that investigation, the systems in place may be
actually aiding and abetting an attempted murderer.

129. Roberta Barclay, Newton Falls, Ohio .

130. Linda Urban, Parkman, Ohio

131.Fay Martin, Ph. D. -- President and Governor Bush - Please act
in the compassion that both of you have demonstrated in the past and
intervene on behalf of this young woman to obtain protective custody
for her and to see that all her needs are met, including social
interactions (particularly with her family) and rehabilitative
therapy. Thank you so much.22. Deborah R. Morris--It is
inconceivable that in our country such a situation as this could
exist. Her husband is so obviously not acting in her best interests
but for his own interests. I am ashamed that our courts have
allowed such a situation to exist and have supported Mr. Schiavo in
his efforts to rid himself of the wife who deserves his loyalty and
support. Since he is so interested in getting on with his life
without her, her guardianship should be turned over to her parents
who can act in her best interests. Mr. President, please do
anything you can to correct this situation. Thank you.

spare
Terri's life. You have said that the vulnerable need protection,
Terri is being treated worse than many canines in our nation.
Please place her in protective custody - away from the wicked who
seek to destroy her!!

134. Lorraine & Julie Guerrieri, St. Petersburg, FL - Terri's right
to Life, Liberty & the pursuit of happiness are being denied!!!

>> Not applicable in a case of marriage

What marriage?

Michael is publically doing "one flesh" with another woman and has sired two illegitimate children by her. His "marriage" is a legal sham. He is "married" not in order to love, honor and cherish Terri, as he vowed, but to profit by her death.

The point of being a libertarian is to defend and strengthen the fundamental rights of property, liberty and life. Terri's right to life is being threatened by corrupt litigation. Any true libertarian would defend her.

That speaks volumes, doesn't it?

Yes it does. I really do pray for God to convert their blasted liberal hearts. Talk about a hijacked religion.

We do have some real heroes, though, thank God.

I'm sorry; but I really need to ask you to take me OFF your ping list.

I have a few FR 'buddies' that keep me pinged to important issues just fine. I wouldn't even say a word to you abot being added to a ping list if you hadn't just pinged with EXTREMELY long posts multiple times.

The Terri info is important to me....it is part of something else I'm working on....

But if you need to ping and the post is long....you either need to remove me or ping to a post without adding the length to the comment format. I monitor multiple issues and the length is a major issue to me.

Sorry and thanks in advance.
