Jim Stork

Candidate for U.S. House of Representatives Florida - 22nd District Jim Stork (D) is challenging Rep. Clay Shaw, Jr. (R) from Florida’s 22nd Congressional District. Shaw’s last strong challenge was in 2000 when he won by a mere 494 votes and Gore beat Bush by a solid 6%.

Once again, the District will be a top turnout target for Democrats in this year’s presidential election. In March of 2002, Jim Stork, at the time new to politics, won a stunning victory in the race for mayor of Wilton Manors, Florida, defeating an incumbent who had served for 14 years. Jim captured nearly 60 percent of the vote in an election that saw the largest voter turnout in the history of the city.

While running for office, he was not only operating his bakery, but also working with the Gay, Lesbian, and Straight Education Network to foster tolerance in local schools. Recently, Stork organized “At Your Door in 2004,” a massive grassroots campaign to knock on the doors of 10,000 registered Democrats who voted in 2000 but did not vote in 2002. The campaign is a massive success, already getting surveys from 600 Democrats and raising $4,500 on its opening day alone. Stork is known for pursuing goals with unwavering conviction, and now he has set his sights on the U.S. Congress.

This is the homosexual who is running agains republican Clay Shaw. This Stork character worked to put GLSEN materials to before school children.

The below excerpt from the SunSential (just as pro-homosexual as the Boston Globe) conveniently omits storks homosexual lifestyle choice.

This is critical especially with the Federal Marriage Amendment and his support for special rights for homosexuals.

This will be an effort to mount a stealth candidacy. Homosexual candidates must be exposed. Especially in light of the current political climate.

I will post teaching materials for GLSEN and the sunsentinal excerpt below.

Below is an excerpt from the Sunsentinal article.
Note how storks homosexual advocacy is not mentioned.
It would be interesting to note who those individuals who donated are.

Jim Stork, the former Wilton Manors mayor, raised an amazing $329,000 in just eight weeks for his Democratic congressional campaign. More than 500 individuals contributed to the campaign, and more than $65,000 was raised over the Internet. Stork, who is challenging U.S. Rep. Clay Shaw, R-Fort Lauderdale, also got more good news: He was named the third most attractive man in U.S. politics by readers of Politics1.com, trailing U.S. Sen. John Edwards and Gov. Jeb Bush's son, George P. Bush.

These are actual GLSEN teaching materians Stork sposored for school children.
This was a major scandal in South Florida.
They omit the "Gay Straight Clubs" which are homosexual recruiting organizations.
This is what this congressional candidate is supporting
but the partisan media will conceal by omission.

The Homosexual Movement in Massachusetts Schools

On March 25, 2000 the Massachusetts Departments of Education and Health teamed up with the national gay and lesbian group GLSEN (Gay, Lesbian, Straight Education Network) and conducted a conference for school children and educators.  The conference was held under the guise of tolerance and safe schools.  However, as the Parent's Rights Coalition discovered, this conference was about teaching children the unsafe mechanics of homosexuality.  Following the conference, organizers denied claims of misconduct made by the Parent's Rights Coalition.  Organizers were forced to concede the truth after the Parent's Rights Coalition made public an audio recording from the conference, which substantiated their claims.  A free copy of the Parent's Rights Coalition audio tape can be obtained from the Massachusetts News web page.  Alternatively, if your computer is audio capable, then you may listen to the following 10 audio clips, in order, to hear the entire contents of the free audio tape.

A word of caution to parents:  These audio clips contain graphic sexual language and are not appropriate for children.  Note that these clips were created for the RealPlayer program.  If after clicking on the audio clips below you determine that the RealPlayer program in not on your system, you may be able to obtain a free copy of RealPlayer Basic under the Real home page located here.

I live in Shaw's district. I would be very surprised if Stork won. Obviously the Scum Sentinel knows that Stork's queerness will be a big liability in the election, otherwise the alleged newspaper would be, uh, "celebrating" it.

Clay Shaw is well-liked in his distrcit and the 2002 redistricting helped him. He'll win comfortably again.

It's very likely that his homosexuality will be a drag on his candidacy, especially in state like Florida. I know that Florida is more 'tolerant' than other southern states, but, even still, it's not New York or California. There's a lot of parents and families that will be turned off by his sexual orientation.

[I know that Florida is more 'tolerant' than other southern states, but, even still, it's not New York or California.]

Actually, Palm Beach and Broward Counties are filled with NY transplants that they are de facto extensions of Manhattan. The voting patterns in Boward and Palm Beach are similar to NYC voting totals.
