April 2, 2004 -- ALMOST a year after the fall of Baghdad, everybody knows that Saddam Hussein stole billions from the Iraqi people. What is now emerging is that the United Nations was his partner in crime - aiding and abetting him during the eight-year Oil-for-Food program.

Instead, Annan created an Oil-for-Food program office in New York to oversee the work of nine U.N. agencies which in turn dealt with the Iraqis, introducing a pointless and costly layer of bureaucracy.

Payoffs. Everybody lives high on the hog, except the people for whom the money was intended.

Organized evil. I marvel at how those people can sleep or live with themselves.

You've just described the European Union bureaucrats as well.

If the UN cares about its reputation, effective damage control would require Kofi Annan to walk the plank.

The Big Question, Will Kerry admit he was wrong about wanting the UN to have veto power over US actions and apologize to Americans for allowing himself to be brainwashed by Kofi Annan's UN and France's Jacques Chirac?

Another win for Bush. If we never ousted Saddam, the world would never had seen light of this scandal!

I'm sure heads will roll at the UN for this. Ok, I'm kidding. Kofi will condemn and deplore himself, and his fellow criminals, then back to business as usual.

But the UN doesn't care about its reputation. It is an evil, corrupt organization that, due to the social conditioning that has been going on through the world over the course of the past half-century, is somehow still seen throughout the world as the paramount of enlightened thinking. This is a dangerous organization. Every warm blooded American ought to oppose this monstrocity with all of their might.

I would go so far as to say that the UN represents exactly the very same evils that Britain represented when our forefathers revolted from the Empire. There is no greater threat to liberty and freedom in the world than the UN.
