In a letter published recently in the Register, Keith Peters joins the chorus of Bush-bashers by accusing President George W. Bush of using scare tactics and of exploiting the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks ("9/11 tragedy exploited for political profit," March 7). That's but two of the Democrats' 9,000-plus Bush bashing points (BBPs). Let's examine a few.

Earlier this morning Bob Kerry was shouthing that the Clinton administration plans to deal with terrorism virtually didnt exist. He further said that it was a good thing that the "plans" were classified.

None of this seems to stop the Clinton administration from continuing to insist that they handed their plans over to the Bush administration.

Clearly the tactic here is to lie in the face of any evidence.

I like having these outrageous lies laid out in one place. I am battling a liberal coworker who believes each and every falsehood you listed and more. I am printing out various posts for him, hoping that he will begin to see the pattern of deceit from his party. At this point, he believes Bush is the liar. Thanks for the post.

Liberals can't seem to get their stories straight.

They whine because Bush should have 'done something' about Al Queda (even though we didn't have actionable intelligence), then whine because we went into Iraq after Saddam ignored 17 UN resolutions over 12 years.

They whine because Bush didn't do anything about prescription drug coverage under Medicare, then when he does it, they whine about the cost (or because it's not big enough).

They whine because 'only the rich got tax cuts,' then whine because the price of gas 'eats up my tax cut.'

They whine about the price of gas, but whine because Bush wants to drill in Anwar.

They are just nuts.
