Pics From The Syracuse, NY "Pro-USA Rally"

14 strangers came together to show their support for the troops. It was a great day. 75% of drivers-by honked or gave the thumbs up in support. One "peace" protester did drive by, roll down her window, and spat at the feet of an older couple holding a "God Bless Our Troops" sign.

Great turnout! The leftists just can't stand that someone will oppose their view. They are the most closed-minded, intolerant group.

Thanks to all of you for a job well done.
Special hugs ((((Rachel)))) for setting such a good example for others of your generation, and to all of you for standing in stark contrast to that pitiful soul who spat at the feet of those of you upholding her freedom to make a fool of herself.

Hey far out, I used to live in Solvay- both my kids were born in Syracuse (this was back in the 80's).
Hooray for FReepers!

I thought leftists were tolerant of speech that didn't agree with theirs...

Oh wait, I'm back to reality now.

Syracuse and the outlying areas is a wonderful place to live...great quality of life.

Thanks all for the nice comments...Checking the news now to see how the interviews turned out. Good media turnout. My comments on the local AM radio news was the lead story...the peaceniks sounded ridiculous in contrast.

I saw the WSTM coverage, channel 3. The Pro-USA turnout was THE story, with a pitiful across-the-street-shot of the ragtag anti-war robots. The interview with you and the WSTM reporter was SUPREME. I was so glad to see proud, clean-cut, pro servicemen and pro-Bush people (including FReepers!) take the LEAD on today's marches. You slam-dunked them, jonalvy. The anchor SMILED with pleasure at the positive story. It should give inspiration to people planning pro-administration marches in other cities. Obviously your planning and preliminary work with the press paid off BIG! Woohoo!
