I can't wait to read this one!! I heard about it on Fox this morning...I suppose that's the only one reporting it. Of the things I commend George Bush for, it is standing up to the UN that I admire most!

the total allocation awarded to Mr. Sevan in phases four through 13 is 14.2 million barrels, of which 7.291 million were actually disbursed, according to the document.

Mr. Sevan could not be reached for comment on the letter, but did issue a denial in response to our Feb. 9 article.

A U.N. spokesman said yesterday that Mr. Sevan is on extended vacation until late April, after which he retires at the month's end.

So Mr. Sevan, director of the U.N.'s Oil-for-Food Program, receives 7.291 million barrels of oil, doesn’t want to talk about it, is on vacation, and looking forward to a very rich retirement.

It makes perfect sense to me. Taking care of the world’s poor and helpless sure pays well in some cases.

Mr. Sevan was another beneficiary, via a company in Panama known as Africa Middle East Petroleum Co. Ltd. (AMEP), about which we have learned quite a bit.

Yep. I've been following along on this busy news day on the "Oil-for-Food Scandal" and I must say that I do believe this scandal will lead to a series of articles.

Given all that has been uncovered in the files which escaped the systematic pillaging and burning after and during the BASH* it is increasingly intriguing as to what was successfully hidden by those efforts to cover the traitors' tracks. Possibly something having to do with WMDs was on all those disk drives? Possibly more having to do with payoffs to the UN, France, Russia, USTraitors, etc?
