It's one thing to object to Sen. John F. Kerry's patrician demeanor, his repetition of his Vietnam experience or his self-flattering comparisons to JFK.
That's the lighter stuff of campaigning.
It's quite another to hear his ideas, and want to run in the opposite direction.

Some economists have actually said that Kerry's continuous statements that we are in the worst jobs market ever in this country (a lie) have in fact driven down the number of new jobs being created.
Kerry WANTS bad things for America so he can get elected.
The numbers regarding the economy and the jobs situation are not getting heard enough through the filter of the liberal press, but here's the facts:
Some key points:
We have lost over 2 million jobs in this country, but we've also GAINED over 2 million jobs. Various links I have to dependable investment sources that track these things admit that there is a net loss of anywhere from 360-560,000 jobs.
In 1996, CNN Headline News trumpeted the unemployment numbers under Clinton's regime, I mean administration as 5.6%. Today they say those numbers are miserable.
Monthly job statistics began to be collected in 1939. Since that time, there HAS NEVER been positive growth in jobs two years after a recession ended. Instead, there's been a 0.6% decline. What's going on with the jobs, therefore, is entirely consistent with what's happened every other time there has been a recession. And we've never had a 9/11 before.
The net worth of all US households is $44.4 trillion, the highest level ever.
More than two-thirds of American families own their own homes, the highest percentage ever.
Consumer prices increased just 1.9% in the past year.
The unemployment rate is 5.6%. The average unemployment rate since 1980 was 6.3%. The average unemployment rate in the 1990's was 5.7%.
The stock market has advanced 45% in the past 12 months.
The gross domestic product, the total goods and services produced in the US, increased in the third quarter last year at an annual rate of 8.2% after inflation and 4.1% in the fourth quarter. Growth in the 1990's averaged a little better than 3% annually.
The wealthiest 5 percent pay more than half the taxes, while people in the bottom half pay just 4 percent.
Factory output is at a 20 year high.
The number of American workers is at an all-time high of 138.5 million, a level never before attained in U.S.
history.
The average was is currently $15.40 vs. $11.80 during Clinton's term.

Kerry is an AINO...
American In Name Only.
He spent the majority of his youth in Europe with his father who was at best a socialist. He is a product of an American hating European education and a commie loving old man.

You mention his father. I find it very odd that so little has been published about Kerry's parents. I, for one, would like to know a little more about them.

Interesting article. Kerry is doing exactly what the Dims always do: trying to scare everyone with "crises." Remember when EVERYTHING had the word "crisis" after it? Education crisis, health care crisis, etc. etc.

Between borderline psychopaths and the mentally unstable, the Slave Party has a real talent for selecting candidates.

I am particularly interested in his mother's side of the family. Kerry is overly concerned about including France in the affairs of the United States. I want to know if he has uncles or cousins with financial ties to Iraq.

There was an article posted here last week that discussed Kerry's father and grandfather. I am sorry I cannot remember the name of the article.
In the article, it details how Kerry's father was one who was not very loving, and who drummed into his sons the ideas of Europeans; he was a career guy in the State Department.
The article said that Kerry's ideas are a direct response to his father. There was a lot more whiich I am not sure I can remember correctly, so I won't comment. Perhaps someone will post the link to that article on this thread.

Kerry promised Tuesday "to cut the deficit in half in four years and invest in health care and education." Another moron liberal who uses 'invest' where he should use the words 'raise taxes to pay off special interests'.

Poodle Boy's 'agenda' shows that the Dems haven't changed since LBJ. With the exception of Clinton, every Dem that has run for office has basically cut and pasted LBJ's domestic agenda and tried to pass it off as their own. This should surprise no one.

Thanks for the link! So, J 'effin' Kerry is a red diaper-doper baby. Surprise surprise. But nothing was said about his mother. Now I'm more curious than ever. His parents seem to be totally off-limits, and that makes it seem like there IS a "there" there.

As much as I try I just don't have the same passionate hatred for Kerry that I do for Bill and Hillary and Algore. He is so bland and he doesn't have that smarmy oily presence that so disgusted me every time a Clinton would open their mouth. He word parses the same way as Bill and he evades questions just as much. But he does in a way that puts you to sleep rather than anger you. But since he doesn't inspire my hatred he most likely does not inspire any passionate support either.

Just found out on another site that Kerry's mother, Rosemary Forbes Kerry, passed away in 2002.

I read that article too - it was stunning! To me it really did show how Kerry developed his attitudes about Europe and about America - and why Kerry favors Europe. I also noticed a distinct similarity in Kerry's childhood to that of Gore.
If you compare the childhoods of the 3 men .. Bush/Gore/Kerry, you will see how the FAMILY RELATIONSHIPS played a pivitol role in the character development of the 3 boys.
As a studier of behavior, I found the article quite revealing; so revealing that I would never allow Kerry to be anywhere near the Oval Office.

"We will stand up for the fundamental fairness of health care as a right and not a privilege"
This is pure socialist ideology. What kind of misled blubbering idiot would actually spout such silly rhetoric. Socialism doesn't work, it appeals to a naive Utopian fantasy that has no basis in reality. The existence of sin in human nature prohibits a successful function. The only utopia an individual is ever going to experience on earth is one of his/her own creation. Capitalism is the functional reality of human nature in a society. It is perfection when applied unpolluted [by socialist idiocy] into economics. Capitalism is individual freedom, its really a beautiful thing. The left is anti-Capitalist, anti-freedom.
They subvert Capitalism like a child loosing at a game of wits, tries to change the rules. To manipulate the structure of the game in their favor, to make up for personal failures and feelings of inadequacies. Because Capitalism is a competition and that makes them uncomfortable. So in actuality Socialism isn't an unselfish humanitarian idea. It is selfishness at its purest. Like the kid who desperately tries to change the rules in a game of Monopoly is acting for only himself. Which stands against the Lefts idea of everyone working for everyone. The false feeling of charity they get only serves as a warm wool blanket for them at night; a convenient covering to hide reality from their intellectual eye.
The same intrinsic failures of Socialist economy holds true when it is applied to society as well. The idea of, why can't everyone look after his own affairs? Does not exist under Socialism because inequality will rise from it, because human beings aren't equal (we are subject to our own natural talents and shortcomings). So to hold everyone in equality to fulfill this Utopian fantasy requires a Totalitarian government, and the eventual loss of all freedom.
