Finally they got around to writing an article.
Yesterday they mentioned it briefly as breaking news on Fox, but didn't follow up on it until now, but I am glad they finally did.
Here is the thread I started at the time:
Terrorists may use Pens filled with poison gases

I don't care what gun anyone on a plane has. Those 100 plus passengers are the best security measure available. Especially if they get pissed off or threatened. There will not be another similar hijacking/conclusion as those on 9/11. No way. No How.
A cargo plane maybe. Shoot-downs or bombs, yep. But never a hijacking again of an American passenger plane full of passengers.

Some say the best security would be to arm ALL passengers, and the pilots and rest of the flight crew as well.
Then a few pathetic terrorists wouldn't have a chance.
I saw this great cartoon where a terrorist say "hijack" and a hundred guns were immediately aimed at him.

The FBI said a watch placed on top of a pen gun could obstruct the weapon when going through an X-ray. "Therefore, pens should be separated from other items in screening bins to ensure a clear X-ray image," the agency stated. Yup. Then when they start making watch guns...?

Ever seen some bad-ass being dragged by two fingers in the nostrils after you crush his larnyx?
Guns are for pussies. Jihad-Johnny's may enjoy firearms, but after watching their buddies beaten to within inches of death by a bunch of soft Americans, firearms are worthless in the overall concept of their objective. In close quaters, a broken CD and a garrotte(mouse cable) will do quite nicely.

I recently saw (can't remember where) a really KEWL weapon:
An electrically fired 9mm that was disguised as a pocket beeper! Fires four rounds through the bottom of the device all at the same time! Press a button and BINGO!

You could carry a 20mm belt fed grenade launcher into most air cargo facilities never mind a "pen gun." Ramps, food service, and cargo security is poor to nonexistent. Meanwhile gramps on the scooter gets wanded.

Puh-leeze! Some of this terrorism forecasting is such nonsense. They could also use Flash Gordon Ray Guns...

Forget about the "pen guns". We can find all the pen guns in the world and won't win the War.
Search out and kill the terrorists, whoever they are, wherever they are. Stop trying to find needles in uncountable haystacks. Burn down the haystacks.

Thats it! , no more pen pals. Reminds me of a cartoon of a terrorist, wearing a suicide belt instructing his class saying "Stand back and watch carefully, I'm only going to do this once".
