CA voters: Kaloogian or Marin? Who's chances are Better?

In her radio ad she says she is against amnesty.

But she also says that she supports the Bush plan.

You cannot have it both ways...

My opinion is that Bill Jones, who is respected as an honest, decent public servant, who is pro-life

Predominently Pro-Life. (Per his web site)

California elected Barbara Boxer twice now.

And California will elect Princess Boxer a third time. The CA Republican Party is incapable of fielding a suitable candidate to defeat her or Queen Diane We will have Boxer/Feinstein until they retire. California is just too far to the Left in regards to its Federal politics.

Arnold's drive to get his bonds has turned dramatically in his favor in the polls.

Arnold may be good at getting people excited with his "celebrity", but his administrative skills are highly suspect.

If I hear him blather on one more time about how "we all need to love each other" I am going to scream.

He will support whoever wins the primary.

So he will be forced to support Howard. Because Kaloogian is going to win.

LA Times poll shows Kaloogian ahead of Marin. 60% of voters are either undecided or not committed to the candidate they currently support.

Kaloogian is the ONLY Senate candidate running radio and television commercials statewide!

Poll was taken one week ago BEFORE Kaloogian started his TV and radio buy and BEFORE Kaloogian got statewide and national press on a variety of issues.

In a low turnout election with conservatives dominating (passive Republicans staying home as they can't vote in the BIG political race that has all the attention - the Demo Presidential primary) Kaloogian's still got a shot.

We're working hard!!

Who is the poster referring to? What group does he believe supported tax paid support of illegal aliens? Every citizen I knew of supported 187, regardless of race.

He cannot have been referring to the same governor Pete Wilson, who rode the back of 187 to the crushing defeat of Kathleen Brown.

Maybe he meant Dan Lundgren (the guy who refused to defend 187), who lost his bid to unseat Davis.

I'm sorry I missed her on Jon & Ken. I don't know how that appearance shaped up but it was only her and Kaloogian who would answer simply yes or no on whether they would vote for Bush's plan and her reply was the same as Howard, "No."

She was on with John and Ken maybe three weeks ago. How recent was the Hitchcock appearance? I have a suspicion she may have "amended" her earlier stance. Just a hunch.

Despite her ads, Rosario Marin is a pro-Amnesty, pro-Illegal Alien disaster.

When she was Mayor of Huntington Park in the 90s, she threw open the door for Illegals.

For what it's worth, I'm voting for Kaloogian unless it looks like Marin might pass Jones.

Toni Casey is better than Marin. Everyone is.

Boxer has never been confronted with it. She's sly and slippery. I mean in your face aggressiveness, like an activist, not unlike Howard Kaloogian. That can earn him a good rep as a minority legislature with his constiuents but it won't help him win statewide.

It doesn't matter to me. I'm essentially resigned to wasting another vote against Boxer in November. She'll win. None of these are stellar candidates that I feel good about. Jones is a scoundrel. Howard projects radicalism, instability. Marin certainly smells suspicious. Cassie is a Clinton ex-RAT. Over 30 million people in California and these are our candidates?

I was out of the state at the time of the election; I never heard or read that the strip club allegation was refuted. The point being, the seat was wide open in 1992. Boxer's running for a third term here. There's much to be said about the power of incumbency.
