So, why don't you get a group of conservatives to go to the SF city hall with your pets, lamps, grandmothers and favorite blankets and demand marriage licenses also? If enough people showed up trying to "marry" their "life partners" of different absurd extremes, maybe the officials would begin to see the problem.

To really give 'em a slap of reality, I suggest going down to SF City Hall and lighting up a Marlboro....since laws are now apparently a non-starter up there.

I agree, that would draw attention to how condoning and licensing Gay Marriage could destroy our institutions and the moral fiber of this nation

Hey jwalburg

Great idea. My wife says I love my computer anyway. Of course I wish it was a laptop so we could spend more time together away from home :-)

I live in the bay area and I actually am thinking about taking my cat with me to get married, and if they refuse claim discrimination. I kinda scared though, that as nutty as some are around here, they'll let me.

Conservative mayors should parody this liberal stupidity by "marrying" Caligula and his neutered slave.

We could appoint Caligula's horse Consul of the California Senate.
