Darn. I stop watching network TV news 20 years ago, and now I've missed a story I'd actually like to see!
Lisa Meyers is the one who did the Juanita Broadderick story, right? Having seen the impact that a predator can have, maybe she's lost patience with these horn-dog Democratic candidates.

Summary: It was about Kerry's "fighting special interest" rhetoric not jiving with the truth; Kerry hosted a retreat for big corporate donors.

Kerry's fund raiser, Robert the Torch Torricelli, should be in PRISON!Sure thing but the "Two-Party Cartel" under the dems decision let him off. Of course if he had a (R) behind his name you know what would have happened. So keep voting those whimp-pubbies & see the same results.

If that was a trashing, thrashing or anything negative...I'd love to see what they call positive.
That was pretty positively negative. I guess I would have expect that the same adjectives they reserve for the President would have applied to the Senator. Silly me!

Indeed. The whole pretext of showing how much special interest money Kerry has been given was to make Bush look like and evil corporate ho for all he has been given.

The big question:
Will the media be given orders to destroy Kerry
as happened in the case of Dean?
Bill and Hillary must be thinking it over now.

Those dastardly Republicans as MSNBC are really hitting hard!
Bill Clinton could ignore this sort of thing. But Kerry has none of Clinton's so-called charisma. He's not going to be able to ignore this the same way.

She touched on all of the "Special Interest" money. It was great but only a precursor to the slamming of the President. Nothing to report here. Let's move on.
Bush has never claimed to not take money from special interests. Kerry has - many times.
The RNC Internet ad was ONLY pointing to the hypocrisy of Kerry.
Big media intentionally misses the position of the ad and rather tries to shift the argument to "special interest" money that Bush has taken. Get used to it. Big Media is RAT. Bush and the Republicans can't ever expect "fairness" from them.

Definitely! They see Kerry's impending Viet, special interest and intern hypocritical weakness, and want to manipulate someone into position who MIGHT beat Bush. You can bet it AIN'T about reporting facts! They have reasons if they eat one of their own.

The network will claim fairness by trash-talking Kerry with the mild "everybody does it" stuff, while still ignoring the rough stuff.

Have we figured out what Lisa Meyers said yet???All I can figure out is that Lisa said that Kerry is corrupt, but President Bush is corrupt-er.
In other words, NBC as usual.

How come we never hear about this:
While in command of Swift Boat 44, Kerry and crew operated without prudence in a Free Fire Zone, carelessly firing at targets of opportunity racking up a number of enemy kills and some civilians. His body count included-- a woman, her baby, a 12 year-old boy, an elderly man and several South Vietnamese soldiers. "It is one of those terrible things, and I'll never forget, ever, the sight of that child," Kerry later said about the dead baby. "But there was nothing that anybody could have done about it. It was the only instance of that happening." Kerry said he was appalled that the Navy's ''free fire zone'' policy in Vietnam put civilians at such high risk.
