Mansoor Ijaz On The Brit Hume Show (Fox News)

Please help me fill-in the discussion with Mansoor Ijaz and Brit Hume about the spread of nuclear weapons.

Mansoor said that at least 3 other countries beside Libya, Iran and N. Korea have nuclear technology from Pakistan and 'maybe' 2 others.

He seemed to confirm that the terrorist have 'dirty bombs' and are anxious to use them now that the US is aware of them.

agree with you dog.
monsour low credibility. his statement that he was negotiating a cease fire sounded like rank bombast, didn't he say a few months back that he had evidence that osama was in Iran? that he would be caught soon? he says a lot of stuff that doesn't happen. I don't know why fox keeps using him like he was some oracle.

Holy Moly! That makes sense. That's why Castro has been saying that Bush is gonna invade Cuba ...and, other wild things along that line. Castro knows he's been caught!! 1962 all over again??

It was unusual for him to say anything like that. That may be related to why the WH called MTP for the interview. W is good when he is misunderestimated.

"has me wondering if there isn't another shoe about to drop."

Let's hope to God it isn't radioactive. This whole story is extremely troubling as is the "absence" of WMDs in Iraq. Does anyone else think this "intelligence panel" is a big sideshow to distract the Dems and the public while the real work is being done to track the WMDs that WERE THERE?

I don't really buy that. While I hope the WMDs are discovered and revealed just prior to the election, it would really be out of character for President Bush to conceal their discovery for political reasons. That's just not his nature.

In that book, basically he had an in with the Sudanese government, and he found that Clinton had threatened Sudan with war just as he was putting together a deal to extradite OBL. In other words, Clinton's admin was both clumsy and stupid, and it turned him off from being a Dem.

On a local note. My hometown, Mobile, calls itself a 'sister' city with Havana. There was suppose to be some kind of trade meeting here but was suddenly cancelled (to everone's suprize) when the state department stepped in and cancelled the visas of all the Cubans who were to attend, they had made numerous previous trips. Hmmmm? Them SOB's better not blow up Mobile, lol.

Mansoor said that the nuclear "cat is out of the bag" or "the horse is out of the stalls", one of those two...so, it's no doubt we're talking radioactive.

There is a lot of stuff that seems like is about to be disclosed... Generals smiling....guests on talk shows making statements...I don't understand why no one has mentioned a segment I saw Sunday on Fox with John Loftus regarding the nuke network talking about nukes and china and disagreements between DIA and CIA, etc... Said CIA does not believe WMD's are hidden in the Bakaa Valley of Syria and DIA saying they are... I wan't sure that he was believable...

Ijaz neglects to mention that he was one of the investors in the factory we bombed. And had been openly angling for business in Sudan. Doesn't invalidate him, but consider all angles. FWIW.

So's this analysis. Duh Bombshell?

WMD's. More than meets the eye.

-----(Snip)----Pakistani sources claim that there has been another bombshell in the admissions of guilt made by Khan's colleagues and juniors, who are still under custody and questioning. They are reported to have stated that during his over 40 visits to Dubai in the last three years, he had met Iraqi intelligence officials who sought his help in having some of the weapons of mass destruction (WMD) material of Iraq airlifted from Syria to Pakistan for being kept in safe custody there to prevent their falling into the hands of the UN inspectors. Khan allegedly agreed to their request. According to them, in October,2002, Khan had a Pakistani aircraft, which had gone to Iran to deliver some equipment, stop in a Syrian airport on its way back . It picked up the Iraqi WMD "material" and brought it to Pakistan for safe custody on behalf of Iraq. It is not clear what did they mean by material---only documents or something more?

October 2002 - the same time the first reports of the NorthKorean angle came to light.

Well, something is up...I wish you could have seen the General's face this morning...he was gleaming...but if a lot of people know or at least have some of the knowledge, why hasn't it leaked?...now I know why I don't have a security clearance or why my hubby won't ever tell me anything...LOL
