Sounds reasonable...until you consider she had the equivalent of a political sex change operation in the past two years.

I'd sure like to know why she gave up the knee pads for the mantle of conservatism. Until I've heard the story I'll remain suspicious of a reformed ******.

Says government should be cut back but that deficit spending is reasonable to do during times of emergency and war.

Wrongo, Toni. Under the California Constitution, deficit spending is illegal.

Brain fart; she's talking federal; I don't know why I was thinking she was talking about California. Anyway, it may be reasonable to carry the deficit in theory, but the current magnitude is not reasonable when considering the entitlement load and the demographic pressure of boomer retirements.

Toni Casey is a lightweight society girl from Texas who ran for Los Altos mayor because the PTA no longer means anything. And neither does being mayor of Los Altos.

If she gave a s**t about illegal immigration, her neighbors would riot and throw her out, because, gosh, who will do the landscaping, muffy?

Her only real opposition to the alien invasion came in the form of support for an ordinance prohibiting job solicitation on city streets, specifically at the corner of San Antonio and El Camino. BFD.

Toni Casey is a dilletante with too much time on her hands and is not in any way a serious candidate for anything, except for fluffbrain of the month.

She is pro-choice only if the abortion involves early termination. .... If it's an advanced pregnancy, Casey is against abortion.

I don't see how this is different from Rosario Marin's views on abortion. She "Supports a woman's right to choose and parental consent for minors seeking abortions. Also supports ban on late-term abortions."

I also don't see why they have to point out their views on partial-birth abortion, since President Bush already signed the partial-birth abortion ban.

Casey tried unsuccessfully to try to get the GOP to adopt a pro-choice stance at its national convention in 2000.

I'm glad she was unsuccessful, and I hope she doesn't try again.
