In the 22-month period between the end of his flight training and his move to Alabama, Bush logged numerous hours of duty, well above the minimum requirements for so-called ''weekend warriors.''

Indeed, in the first four years of his six-year commitment, Bush spent the equivalent of 21 months on active duty, including 18 months in flight school. I have been searching for the information to refute the "President Bush was AWOL charge". There are many places on the web that repeat that charge and none that I have found to refute it. Until now, here it is. I hope it helps everyone in future debates. Thanks

Just yanking your chain.

The proprietor of terpsboy.com is none other than Rodger Schultz, one of the prime movers at the beginning of the Free Republic. He was kind of a combination kattracks/JohnHuang2.
