Who? MY name is Josh, and I don't plan on doing this. (People would change the channel if they heard me sing.) :) Who is this "Josh" you speak of?

It is in the keywords and the url link--Josh Groban. I copied and pasted the article from his website and didn't change any of the content.

Thanks. I just went to his website, pretty good music... I wish there was some sort of bio though. I love reading about peoples lives and how they got started. You can see how peoples lives work and the miricales and such that happen to them over a life time... Everyone has a story. Life is fascinating. :)

My parents are going to see him in Denver on the 6th. Awesome voice, but I just can't get into his music.

http://www.joshgroban.com/main_bio_frame.html There is a player that will pop up in the right hand corner of the page to listen to some of the songs--move it till you find You Raise Me Up. It is a very beautiful song. Take time to listen to them all because there is nothing but incredible music from him. He is an amazingly talented singer.

I absolutely hated opera music . . . why not, they ain't speaking English.
But I bought Josh's "In Concert" CD after hearing him on TV. I've been playing it almost non-stop. I still ain't got a clue what he's singing on the operatic, hi-falutin' numbers but man-oh-man can that boy sing gibberish! He's gotta be a gelding.

He should try it from the abdomen. He's a little too throaty for me. And that'll shorten the life of his voice.

There is a nice video with three songs way down the page on the right. It's under
sessions@aol. Beautiful voice. I noticed him in his TV ad. I think I'll buy his CD. I love the classical voice. Does anyone know what nationality he is? He seems French to me.

He was born and raised in California, but he can sing Italian, Spanish and French flawlessly!

Prior to hearing Josh Groban's version of "You Raise Me Up", my daughter, who is a lurking freeper, bought my wife a CD by the musical group Secret Garden, who has this song on their "Once in a Red Moon" album. They give the origin of the song and their very special version of it.
For those who may be interested, here is a link describing it and some of their other songs. You will need to scroll down their press release page and click on "Once in a Red Moon"
Also for those who have windows media player, clicking on EPK video in the lower left of their press release page will describe the song and their music in general.

What a talent. My daughter graduated with him from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts. As a sophomore, he looked like a nerd engineer in glasses. His growth in three years at the school was remarkable. And he was a great kid.

He seems to a very nice person and I sure hope he stays that way. What did your daughter study?
