Prayer Request for Freeper's Son

I just got the news that my precious son's (age 4) blood tests are back. He has Alpha 1 and the numbers on his liver enzymes are shooting up again.

His alkalines have almost doubles, as have ALT and AST. In short, it's not real good. Our wonderful doctor wants to check again in 3 months, but thinks we'll be headed back to Vandy for more aggressive treatment.

Please pray for his health & healing if it is God's will. Also, please pray for us as we cope. I will most certainly give God the glory and ya'll my heartfelt thanks.

Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AAT Deficiency or Alpha-1) is one of the most common serious hereditary disorders in the world and can result in life-threatening liver disease in children and adults or in lung disease in adults.

I'm going to have a bit of a cry now. He begged to go to Granny's for a few hours and I just couldn't say no.

I really do appreciate your prayers. I will say this...today in particular the devil is attacking me on all sides. Our Lady of Peace (hospital) is looking good. They have their own bowling alley, and I could just bowl and make potholders all day long.

The stress of Jake's situation (and a hundred others the devil is gleefully throwing my way) is really starting to get to me.

I'm keeping the faith, just having to strain to see the Son in this valley.

Dear lady, we have a savior who knows pain and who grieved and was tormented. I believe in the laying on of hands which I did on the picture of your son, praying that it would be accomplished in the Spirit. Our Father is able to rid this disease from him and I have asked and am believing for this.
