Did you see how Matthews was looking at him that first night? OMG, if looks could have killed.
Say what you want about Matthews (not you particularly), but Matthews loves the process; and he does NOT like dirty tricks on either side.

Al's hoping for a South Carolina miracle. I wonder what the Clintons have in store for him down there.

The Clintons' first choice was Edwards, but he didn't get any traction, so they brought in Clark for cover. Which explains why they won't comment on any of the Candidates ..
IMO .. this race is down to Kerry, Edwards and Clark
But the wild card is the wacky left that are following Dean and who they will go with?

But the thing is .. Lehane has been around for a while .. And now Chris is finally getting ticked off?
My guess is that Chris know of something bigger that might hit and he's trying to knock Lehane now and discredit him.
But why .. what is it?

I've heard Rush and a few talking heads predict this perfectly. Now that the liberals in the press have derailed Dean, they have to go after Kerry and Edwards. Otherwise, the Hildabeast can't run in four years.
They were exactly correct.

I think the W.H. press corps would lynch him within the first week of his job.
BTW: he would need a stand on a crate just to reach the microphone. ;>)

Thanks for the link. I still say that Lehane works for Clinton and will spread enough dirt to make sure that no clear Democrat emerges that would have an obvious chance to defeat George Bush.

That's possible .. the thing that makes me think differently is the Supreme Court
There are been talk for some time that a couple of them will be retiring and that is one of the reasons the libs have been fighting Bush's selection on Judges.

I read that it's definite - can't
recall the FReeper or source, but
it was credible to me. The way I
understood it, he advises Edwards
on military issues - yuck!
Maybe he just wants to stop Clark.
Guess he's a Democrat. (Shudder!)

OK .. thanks for the info
I just wanted to make sure they weren't spinning together advice and an endorsement
The way the libs spin words, we need to pay extra attention to them

I've seen the major media attacks on Dean, Gephardt, Kerry, and Edwards. Not Clark...wonder why...
Edwards/Clark 2004 Yeah,I know Hugh Shelton is advising Edwards. He'll be tossed aside if need be.

That Clark memo says:
"General Shelton has engaged in precisely the type of politics as usual mud-slinging that you profess to abhor: he initiated what has become a smear campaign that the Republicans have gleefully taken up. And his character assassination was the worst type: General Shelton leveled charges about "integrity" and "character," and then refused to back up his charge with an ounce of evidence or a shred of substantiation. Attacks like these have no place in campaigns, or in any public discourse. You should insist that General Shelton either repudiate his attacks or come forward and provide proof for what he said. "
That is quite hilarious.
I heard Clark on TV. Clark claims that he SAVED 1 MILLION LIVES! in Kosovo. really?
YOU THINK MAYBE *HE* COULD BACK THAT UP AND PROVE THAT HE DOESNT HAVE AN "INTEGRITY ISSUE"?

"Flow chart, please. :-)" It runs downhill. That would place Lehane furthestmost upstream.
