dude, I feel good about Clark or any dem candidate. They're not running against Bush '92. How are any of them going to stand up and say they could've prevented 9/11 in a debate? How can any one of them say they can do better since 9/11? This is not a done deal, but I have to say, again, this is not Bush '92. 9/11 changed everything.

I agree that far too many folks in the Republican Party believe that in surviving Clinton's eight years they have weathered the Clinton storm. Fact is, Slick Willie and the HildaBeast ain't goin' away until we stomp on 'em, grind them into the ground, and bury them six feet under with all the evidence of corruption we have on them!! Clark's just symptomatic of the problem and the bigger test will be '08 when the RATS will have the HildaBeast heading the ticket and are promising to get the DespoticDuo back in the White House.

The Networks don't hold the monopoly they used to anymore, and the RightWing's alternative new sources can do a good enuff job of gettin' the word out that folks'll haveta be Willfully Ignorant to once again miss out on the depth of the ClintonCorruption. it's not necessarily optimism. Remember when Reagan said "are you better off now than you were 4 years ago?", in '84? Well, I think the Bush team can and will run with that. How is ANY dem candidate going to compete against that? Are we safer now than we were 4 years ago? Didn't Bush and his team pull us out of a recession and 9/11, back to where we were before 9/11? I know I'm speaking to the choir here, but I don't think any of us should sell our candidate short (after all, this is not Bush '92).
