Never bring guns and an accomplice to a gun fight with an ex-military service man.

It sure seems as though more Americans are just not taking it anymore - this is like the 4th story in a month where the homeowner fought back and gave the intruders the heave-ho or just downright killed the lawbreakers! Street Justice is on the rise...

It sure seems as though more Americans are just not taking it anymore - this is like the 4th story in a month where the homeowner fought back and gave the intruders the heave-ho or just downright killed the lawbreakers! Street Justice is on the rise... How much of that is because the press is having a harder time burying these stories on page 16D right after the pet obituaries?

Without the presence of a firearm in the house, the man and his wife would have become victims of crime. The fallacy of police protection cannot be more evident. They always respond after the fact, after a victim has been created. Not this time. A citizen has spared countless other citizens by eliminating an over confident criminal.
Someting the courts couldn't have done had the criminal survived.

"Grayson took cover behind a living room chair."
More than likely he was using the chair to steady his aim. For cover you want most of your body sheltered by a corner of your hallway, so the 2 by 4 studs in the wall can take the fire.

Pardon me for saying so but you aren't very independent if you're relying on someone else to protect your very life.

And the reason more of these stories aren't reported is so people won't rethink.

Take note Police Chief in Wilmette, IL this is how it works.
You DO NOT arrest and charge the Homeowner for defending themselves or property.

"Stories like this are making me rethink my stands against owning firearms.." Then you need to join the NRA to receive the monthly magazine -"American Rifleman" -- which has a page of "stories like this" in every issue.

The beginning of wisdom is to realize that all is not as it seems.
The leftist simacrulum of reality is particularly transparent-but because they control education, what is transparent to those who were grown before the triumph of the left in the schools may be quite opaque to others.
Keep your eyes open-and do pay attention to that man behind the curtain.
He (or more likely nowadays, she) is not your friend.

Send this story and all others like it to Britain. The huge increase in armed burglary in London is a direct result of the ban on people owning guns. The socialists always get it wrong and now they are paying for it.
To: ChefKeith
Unfortunately, by Handgun Control Inc. statistics, this is another "child" killed by those evil guns.
