Has anyone considered that all these myriad terrorism alerts in the USA may be nothing more then a manipulation of our financial system by some extremely market-smart people in or out of the circle of true terrorists as an instrument to make some fast and easy cash?

There is precedent for products being poisoned and other criminal acts being committed to influence stock prices so a knowledgable investor could leverage the news into substantial profits and what easier way for Al Quaeda and other savvy groups to replenish their coffers but to just stack some money into the right stocks and futures then toss out some strategically targeted "intelligence" that would set all the three and four lettered agencies into a tizzy and also cause some major news that will affect certain market sectors.

Perhaps the three and four letter guys should be looking into WHO is investing into WHAT would be affected by the terrorism alerts.

Hopefully they already are.

You're saying that terrorists are tricking us into issuing alerts so they can then make a profit from stocks & bonds?

There are many examples of how this may take place. One example would be to short sell an airline stock.

I cannot stand these darn terrorist threats, the alerts make me mad, and I feel like they are laughing at us. AHHHH. Well, if this is really the case, they are smarter than we think, at least financially. Oh Well..
