Agreed. When we first moved to Houston a long time ago, I made an appointment with a dentist out of the yellow pages. When I got there, I discovered the office was filthy, dark, etc. When he said he'd be with me in a minute, I walked out the back door.

You are so right. I went to a dentist in my network some time back. The office looked perfectly clean and appropriate, but as I am sitting in the chair I noticed a "red chunk" of something in the spit bowl. I tried to convince myself that I should not be hyper-critical, but my stomach rolled every time I thought of it, and I never went back there.
