My Daughter and Grand Daughter were just on Fox & Friends (Vanity)

My daughter just called and said she and my grand daughter just had an outdoor mini-interview with Steve Doocy on Fox & Friends. I'm at work and TV challenged but I'd set my VCR to tape the show just in case. My son in law is in Iraq and my grand daughter wanted to say "Hi" to him. Did anybody see this?

Was your gdaughter the one in the red coat, I think it was?
She apparently was on camera twice. I caught the 2nd time.

I saw them.

Steve was very nice to both of them. The girl said 'hi dad'. Steve said 'I am not your dad' and the discussion of who and where her dad is ensued.

Yes, that was her. I just talked to my daughter again and yes they were on twice. I sure hope I didn't screw up when I set the VCR.

Your son in law is named Steve Burghart (sp), and they're from S.C.?
I saw it! Cute little girl. They were on in at least 2 segments, by the way...once just talking to Steve Doocy, and once in the next segment. They may have been on more, but I've been doing some other things too, and might have missed part of it.

God has already blessed your son in law and wife with your beautiful granddaughter and we wish his continued blessings for your son in law and his fellow soldiers.

They also talked off camera to Brian Kilmead. My daughter said he seemed concerned about my son-in-law and took his name. Brian is very pro-GI.

Actually, his name is Dave Burkhart. They're currently in S.C. but they've been all over. My grand daughter was born in Germany and has also lived in Guam and Hawaii. This is the first time she's lived on the U.S. mainland.

Thank you very much. She's only 9 but she'd rather watch Fox News Channel than cartoons.

I saw it! Cute little girl! You can tell that she is VERY proud of her daddy (a TSgt in the Air Force)
To: Jaxter
Ok, that IS what caught my ear the first time - I went to HS with a guy of the same name...not the same person, however.

Her mother (my daughter) and father were raised in eastern Ohio where I'm from, but she's a military brat.

Thanks! Technically, he won't be officially a T/Sgt. until January 1st. (Pun intended)
