Note how this is not described as a gender gap. Somehow the white male lead is somehow attributed to "unenlightened" supporters.

How trustworthy are these numbers. Consider the Voter News numbers that showed this nation is far less evenly split. Liberals are in far fewer numbers. Could it be that women tend to have more liberals in their ranks?

Yeah. And how dare they refer to me as "white?" I prefer the term "Northern and Western European American." Where's the inclusion, the diversity training?

How about some Bush pictures for illustration?

I should make a collection.

How about Bush with the bullhorn, Bush in a flight uniform, Bush clearing brush in Texas, Bush at Thanksgiving with the troops...?

Please post a few.

You can't change no fault divorce. However, you can "keep" no fault but add infidelity and other equity grounds for distribution of property and residential custody. (still need to keep the MYTH of joint custody) It just a political game of playing the definition game. Like civil unions are marriage without the "m" word.

(if divorce was really no fault there would be no alimony in any form either.)

"Could it be that women tend to have more liberals in their ranks?"

Yep. That includes the hordes of feminists who talk a lot to our congressmen, then vote Democrat.

Republicans need to get the divorced men's, second wives, sons and daughers (deprived of their dads) vote. It's a huge vote, and it's a truly conservative vote when compared to the single mom lobby's certain Democrat vote (NOW, AAUW, FFL, etc.). But it's going to have to at least repeal some parts of laws that involve unconstitutional imprisonments (VAWA, Child Support Act) from the Clinton years.

I think the people who need to see those pics posted most are the folks right here on FR who forget that when Mr. Bush won the contested election of 2000 he promised to be a president of ALL the people, which instantly meant to me -- and I'm sure lots of others -- that he'd occasionally get behind an issue that might be termed "liberal." I, for one, think he's done a masterful job of not only getting behind those issues, but steering them to a point where they are not as onerous as they would have been in a -- gulp! -- Gore administration. Although, thinking about it, I imagine the "all-or-nothing" types will NEVER be satisfied. That being said, the happy truth is that the "all-or-(know)-nothings" on both the Right and the Left are going to find out in November that they are marginalized beyond redemption.

If Bush gives amnesty to 12 million illegals, this is one vote he will not get.

If that makes me "marginalized" , so be it-I won't participate in the suicide of this country

By not voting for Bush, you are effectively voting for Dean or whoever the Dem candidate is and you exactly WILL be complicit in the destruction of the US, aiding those whose goal is to destroy America.

I very much doubt the "amnesty" will be as the press has portrayed it. Don't buy the hype.

Glad to hear it. :)

I would have hated to put you in the same category as the wackos who prefer Dean over Bush.

"Younger, married white men are disastrously, overwhelmingly Republican," he said. "They are trending more Republican over time. Everything about George Bush speaks to them."

Yup. That's me and my friends. Among my circle of young married white men, there is probably not even 10% support for the Democratic Party.

The support among white males will dip some if the assualt weapons ban is reauthorized. If it is, I know a LOT of people who will be voting third party! That and amesty for illegal aliens are two things that can hurt him.

Neither party is going to do anything that reduces the government's role in people's lives. Doing so would cut the money that they funnel back to the states via those programs. No politician EVER lost his/her job by screwing over dads. It would be nice if the GOP did at least try to un-do this mess, but I don't see it happening anytime in the near future.
