Hillarys staged "historical" trip to Iraq. LOL.
Man, that Bush show up and the lefts reaction to it was the funniest thing I've ever witnessed! The Democrats FREAKED!
Now, the press is refering to Saddams capture as "The historical capture of Saddam Hussein." LOL. Ouch! That must be tearing the liberals hearts out.

There is a big difference between ordinary citizens jumping on an unfounded rumor and professional politicians and elected officials spreading lies and conspiracy theories via the media.
The rumor mongering of the Democrats would be roughly equivalent to President Bush stating in a news conference that he has heard rumors that Howard Dean performed abortions during the two or three years that he worked for Planned Parenthood and then stated that he didn't really believe it, but it's a possibility.

And the only reason the race was close was EVERY TV network falsly claiming Gore had won Florida.I'll go one step further.
By Sunday before the election, Tim Russert and every other political analyst knew quite well that Florida was the key to the election. So did the DNC.
This is what I think really happened.
The day before the election, representatives of the DNC met in New York with the people who ran the old Voters News Service. They put forward the idea that an early call for Florida would not only suppress Republican turnout in Florida, thus making it a self-fulfilling prophecy, but it would put as many as 11 others states in play for the Democrats.
While an early call was technically illegal, it was only a violation of administrative law. The fine would be chump change for a network.
I believe that the key VNS players with the networks deliberately colluded with the DNC to throw the election. After all, the Constitution forbids a revote. Individual votes can be challenged for reasons of fraud, but not an entire election. The votes are counted, and legally it doesn't matter if the networks worked to throw the election or not. The vote counts stand.
It was a win-win situation for the DNC. Wisconsin, Oregon and a few others states that should have gone Republican went Democratic due to this collusion. They almost pulled it off.
The day of the 2002 election, all VNS uplinks failed. Every single one. What are the odds of that happening the very day of an election? I believe the Administration discovered another case of pending collusion to suppress Republican turnout and turn Congress over to the Democrats. The order was given to the NSA to sabotage all the VNS satellite connections and nip this conspiracy in the bud.
VNS was shut down and liquidated only a few months later. The message had been sent.
And no, I'm not wearing tinfoil.

I was listening to a conservative talk-radio show yesterday and heard that Madeline Alrbright was overheard on Sunday saying that President Bush may already have Osamma captured and is just holding him till the election. She wasn't overheard. She said it directly to Mort Kondracke at the Fox studio as they were getting makeup applied. He went directly to his spot at Brit's roundtable (she was there for an interview with someone else) and reported on Special Report what she had just said. He was astounded and appalled and thought it was sheer lunacy.
Yesterday Rush played Kondracke's comments where he stated she was absolutely serious and not joking. Also yesterday Fox wrote an article saying that Albright was passing off her remarks as "joking", but they cited the two makeup people who heard her say this confirm she was not joking.

Howard Dean performed abortions during the two or three years that he worked for Planned Parenthood and then stated that he didn't really believe it, but it's a possibility. Late term abortions. 24 hours before the schedualed birth date. Might as well go all the way.

And no, I'm not wearing tinfoil. Nope. I was watching the election results on tv, and Peter Jennings said Florida was called for Gore, and he said "It looks like OUR SIDE is winning."
That's no joke. My husband caught it, too.

I know, there really would be a difference between the suggested rumor about Dean, because with the hypothetical Dean rumor, there is the ring of truth.

...any chance of this a-hole losing his seat after the next election, or are his constituents as looney as he?... Baghdad Jim is from Washington State's 7th Contressional District (see map), which IIRC is ground zero of Liberal Looneydom...

I'll go one step further..... While you are inventing details, I do agree that the stink factor here is gigantic. Yes, I heard all the talking heads say "Florida is the key!". Then Florida is called EARLY for Gore, giving the illusion of an EASY victory, a BIG BLOWOUT victory. In the KEY state. With millions of voters having not yet voted. It looks so much like planned, deliberate fraud. (OK, friends at DU, what would you be saying if roles were reversed...early call for Bush, etc....)

You know, it's been two years since I wrote a Publius Essay. (Check my FReeper Home Page for those Publius Essays I decided were keepers.) Maybe I should expand this idea. Hm-m-m-m-m. Time to open up Word and start writing.

But never did I possess the hatred in my heart for Bill Clinton that people like McDermott hold for George W. Bush today. Sorry Frank, I had, and still have, that hatred in my heart for Bubba and Bubbette.

The left has gone insane. I mean, they have literally lost it totally. I wouldn't be surprised if they are down to 25% representation in Congress in 10 years time.
To: Eva
She claims she was only kidding. Kondracke said she sounded pretty serious to him and the others standing nearby. The Dems lie so much they can't remember the truth anymore. Grrr.
To: TheBigB
Nah, BigB, it's the Illuminati guys. Remember them.
