Four have sewn their lips together. You know, this is not considered a good way to get a country to see you as a valuable future member of their society.

Too bad the names of those four weren't Michael Moore, Al Franken, Barbara Streisand and Bill Clinton.....

OK, if they were simply seeking asylum, why wouldn't they seek it from Nauru (OK, admittedly it's mostly a desolate wasteland) or from Indonesia?

The Pacific Solution sounds about right for the illegals steaming across our un-protected borders and for all the millions already here illegally. Mr. Ridge, do you job and arrest the perps! Then deport them! Stop the idiocy about "special employer/ job opportunities for illegals! " This is the dumbest idea yet from the Admin! I'm terminally pissed about it and will allow my reps and senators know my feelings as all Freepers should and right away!

"No refugees have reached the mainland since the government implemented its border policy, the harshest of any Western-style country. Well the Australian Navy aswell as Coastguard patrols its borders 24/7.It is much harder(and more expensive) for the US,not being an island,to patrol its borders.
