As always, soliciting FReeper comments, observations, and opinions.
I'm not sure how the capture of Saddam will change the shows, but I don't care! I wonder if any dem candidates will credit Bush?

I wonder if any dem candidates will credit Bush? Dean will say "I suppose that's a good thing".

I'll wager there will be a lineup change on today's shows. If not, I'll watch just to see how the Rats tap dance the capture of Saddam.

The Dimms will probably call in sick.

I think all the Sunday talk shows has officially been pre-empted for the news of Saddam's capture.
Isn't it a great day?

My local news WTKR Norfolk, CBS affiliate still has not shown anything about Saddam's capture. I have been switching back to the station to see when it wakes up. Just showing some local bumpkun crap.

It will be interesting to see which morning programs are live and which were pre-recorded. I'll bet some moderators are up early, editing.

I really wish this had been the Sunday for Daschle and Hillary to be on all the shows. Would love to see their pained expressions re: Saddam's capture.

The Saddam capture was timed to squash the Altoast2000 endorsement story - I'm sure of it...

I don't know that any of them are pre-recorded, Tom. Last week the D.C. FReeper chapter FReeped Hillary at all the network locations in D.C. since she was appearing on ABCCBSNBC. They were successful, as far as I know, but Hillary was sneaking in/out the back doors by the dumpsters!

Posted on Sun, Dec. 14, 2003 Dean summons nuance in foreign-policy talks, By David E. Sanger and Jodi Wilgoren NEW YORK TIMES
His planned speech on Monday is the product of many hands, including those of former Vice President Al Gore, whose consultations on the text were a prelude to his recent endorsement of the Dean candidacy. ... The speech is filled with critiques of how Bush squandered good will toward the United States, and assessments like this one: "The removal of Saddam Hussein was accomplished in the wrong way, at the wrong time, with inadequate planning, insufficient help and at unbelievable cost."

(Schumer's unhappy federal judges have lifetime positions, so he should work to amend that.)
