I just found out that the Forehead himself, Paul Begala, will be the keynote speaker at the 2004 Mock Convention at Westminster College near where I live. Westminster holds a mock convention every four years for the party out of power. Robert Novak spoke in 2000, while Alan Keyes filled in for an injured John Sununu in 1996.
I hope to have the opportunity to ask at least one question of one of the biggest liars in recent political history. I would like Freeper input on the best question to ask him should I get a chance. I will report back after the Convention in early February with a report.
Thanks in advance Freepland!!!

Ask him what he thinks about this statement:
"If you allow someone like Saddam Hussein to get nuclear weapons, ballistic missiles, chemical weapons, biological weapons, how many people is he going to kill with such weapons? He's already demonstrated a willingness to use these weapons. He poison-gassed his own people. He used poison gas and other weapons of mass destruction against his neighbors. This man has no compunction about killing lots and lots of people...."
Al Gore said it Dec. 16, 1998

From
www.westminster.edu:
Mock Convention 2004, "Its Gonna be a Knockout!"The second oldest Mock Convention in the United States began in 1936 at Westminster College. Thomas Mansell, political science professor, started the convention to give students the opportunity to not only learn about the political election process, but to participate in it as well. This year's Democratic Convention will take place on February 5 & 6. The candidates for the convention are: General Wesley Clark, Howard Dean, Dennis Kucinich, John Kerry, and Richard Gepheart. The student run executive committee is already hard at work planning the convention, which includes a keynote address by Paul Begala, platform debates, the tradition reading of the states, and speeches by the five campaign managers. State chairs and delegates are still needed, so come see who Westminster chooses as their candidate in 2004!!

The last time I saw Begala on television, I nearly through a brick through the screen at him. He was questioning Bush's veracity, and the conservative guest laughed and said,
"You have got to be kidding, calling Bush a liar after you worked for Bill Clinton for eight years."
Begala was prepared, with the standard dem talking point:
"Bush lied about going to war. Clinton only lied about his girlfriend."
Perhaps you could ask him:
Is it okay to lie under oath when you are the defendant in a sexual harassment case, as long as the lie is only about sex?

Problem is, Gore is officially off the Clintonista reservation after the Dean endorsement. My guess is Begala would rip him to shreds the way he does any conservative who dares oppose the rapist-in-chief.

I wish I could quote what he said about the people who voted for Bush (the red states)after the last election. You could ask him if it qualified as hate speech since it denigrated a class of people.
