TRT/MD/DC FReepers vs. Clinton/Brady Bunch: 2004 Elections implications?
From 4:00 pm. until about 8:30 pm., Thursday, December 4, 2003, members of the Maryland/DC Tyranny Response Teams, plus three DC Chapter Freepers, gave the national anti-RKBA, anti-gun elite a chilly greeting as the “Brady Bunch” celebrated the 10th Anniversary of the passage of the infamous “Brady Bill”.
This exclusive forum and reception was held at the internationally acclaimed Omni Shoreham hotel in the Cleveland Park area of Washington, D.C. Sarah/James Brady, John (D.C. Gun Ban) Hechinger, Sr., Sam Donaldson (ABC News), national Million Mom March leaders, elected members of the Kennedy clan (Ted, Patrick, etc.), Democrat Congressman Jim Moran (VA-8th), former President Clinton, as well as several Democrat and Republican members of the national anti-RKBA elite – too numerous to list – were in attendance. We provided them all with a few choice verbal and non-verbal greetings. ;-)
The TRT gave all the aforementioned elitists a present surprise, especially since the national anti-RKBA elite, whether Democrat, Republican, whatever, were hoping that the whole issue of gun control would “go away” and true RKBA activists, like the TRT, would be marginalized – especially since President Bush and presumptive Democrat presidential nominee Howard Dean have the same positions on gun control and both have received “A” ratings from the NRA.
Welllll, surprise, surprise - true patriots, like the TRT and certain FReepers, will not roll over and keep quiet, especially when it comes to RKBA issues and the Constitution of the United States, despite what the Washington elites, Republican or Democrat, do behind-the-scenes with their lame attempts to discredit our forces.
The TRT and certain pro-RKBA FReepers will play a critical role in election 2004, just as we did in electing a pro-gun Congress in 1994 and Bush in 2000. However, the question still remains, just whom are the true pro-RKBA, pro-constitution candidates we should support during the 2004 elections - if any (?).
