Just one tiny detail was wrong, the DHL plane was not shot out of the sky, it was hit but made a remarkable landing with a wing in flames.

Otherwise this is a moving testament.

it was hit but made a remarkable landing with a wing in flames.

Not only that -- they had no hydraulics and the flap and aileron on the left wing were gone. The fire from the Strela burned through the rear spar.

The guy made a no-controls, no-flap, no-brakes landing with no loss of life (and there is a 50-50 chance the airplane is repairable at this time). It is a job of airmanship for the record books -- he had nothing but throttles and trim tabs to control that jet.

And that's a civilian pilot (not even American, I think). If Hadji wants to take on the civilised world, he had better adapt well to frustration -- because he can't win against men like this.
