Hillary to Troops: Support for War Fading

Moderator note: I know it's going to be tough, but, please watch the calls for violence against this creature.

In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.

Describing two meetings with G.I.s over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Sen. Clinton told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing."

Clinton said she told the troops, "Americans are wholeheartedly proud of what you are doing but there are many questions at home about the (Bush) administration's policies."

She also suggested that the U.S. could eventually loose the war in Iraq, contending, "We have to exert all of our efforts militarily, but the outcome is not assured."

Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24-hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations.

"It's a positive for the commander-in-chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."

Speaking from a secure location just over the Kuwaiti border, Mrs. Clinton launched one verbal salvo after another at the White House, arguing that Bush officials had been "obsessed" with getting Saddam Hussein and saying the perception blinded them to the difficulties of deposing his regime.

"The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible, as light a footprint as they could get away with," Clinton said. "Now, we're playing catchup . . . Unfortunately, I don't think they fully appreciated the conditions we would encounter."

The top Democrat also reprised her charge that the White House is being less than candid when it comes to apprising the American people of the costs of the war.

"The obstacles and problems here are much greater than the administration usually admits to," she said, adding, "Everybody has to be honest."

Her statements to the troops need to be publicized more. When more people know she is using her political agenda to demoralize the troops and "talk down" the victory then she will become more of a pariah.

Don't worry.

The American people see this for what it is. The DUmocrats are taking every opportunity they can to demoralize this nation into believing that only they are capable of creating UTOPIA.

The true American spirit will come out at the polls in '04.

I believe the DUmmies are in for a real shock at just how fed up the American people are with them and their "Low-Blow" tactics.

Has anyone videotaped this other than the media, if so we need to make the charge and have enough to make it stick. I'm willing to be a part of the Plaintiff if we have what we need to make it stick.

After the initial outrage upon reading this NewsMax article I turned on FOX news for any updates. At the 1 PM (eastern)top of the hour news there was no mention of Hillary's comments. Mostly news dealing with a terrorist attack on a coalition forces (Spanish) convoy ... perhaps as many as 6 killed. Apparently the Hillary outrage has quickly cycled thru the newsroom and now is "old" news.

Problem is, there is still enough of a strangle-hold on the media, that not enough of this c**p gets out to most people.

If the media would actually report this story, instead of sources on the web, there'd be hell to pay. But Tommy/Petey/Danny will do all in their power to put a positive spin on anything she does.

I'm a little depressed. I just heard back about the treason charges.

(snip)

Bush was very well received and I have also gotten three emails from friends over there that they were proud to see the Commander and Chief. Hillary on the other hand was white washed. She talked to troops who were picked who would keep their mouths shut and not give away any information. She was not received well. Proof, no honor guard to meet her not required No VIP escort. Bush had an honor guard at every stop yes it is prodocol for the Commander and chief. But I have seen it not done many times and damn sure isn't required in a combat zone.
Treason is one of the hardest charges there is to enforce or prove. It requires three witnessess plus many other things I don't know. I have never seen the charge used. I've seen it threatened and downgraded to Gross Negligence or cowardice. Look at the American Taliban, he wasn't charged with traeson due to it being so hard to prove and it should be a treasonous charge. Then you are no longer an American, you are just here.

What she did was wrong and she damn sure had no right talking that way to troops but Congressonal Censure is the worst I think they could get and I don't think it would fly with so many Democrates in power.

(snip)

Nice, real nice. Above the law. I think I'm going to go and chew some tinfoil. That might make me feel better.

I'm curious at what kind of statement could be mailed to the list you posted. Hillary Clinton needs to be impeached or recalled. Do you think any of those dems would be willing to stand up for their country?

She needs to be publicly censored. TV and radio programs need to carry it live.

Now now..... her grammar is the very LEAST of her problems. Having a lying, immoral wuss for a husband is also a well-known but minor issue at this point. It's her rose-colored lenses about herself that is fascinating. First of all, rose-colored lenses literally went out in the 80's. Self-deception is NOT a good quality to showcase although she does it SO well. Thirdly, nothing she does should be a surprise to any of us... do we not recall the bored and contemptuous look on her face during President Bush's wonderful speech to Congress immediately after 9/11? That look said it all, folks. She's evil, inside and out. She cares for no one and nothing... least of all the troops she visited. If the big-mouth Chixie Dick is ashamed of being a Texan because of Bush, then along a similar vein I suggest we women should be ashamed of being women because of Hillary. Mistress-of-Slick-Clinton: whomever is writing your stuff needs a raise. We Republicans appreciate his/her efforts enormously. Each utterance is another jewel for the Republicans. You could single-handedly win President Bush the next term.

>>>Fox needs to send in a reporter for some anonymous interviews with said troops PRONTO.

See my post 636. Troops that met with her were hand picked to keep their mouths shut.
