Two Yemeni terror suspects extradited from Germany to US

German judicial sources have said that two Yemenis suspected of raising funds for al Qaeda and the militant Palestinian group Hamas have been extradited from Germany to the United States.

The two men were arrested in Frankfurt last January as part of an FBI undercover sting operation. A spokeswoman said the extradition was only permitted under the condition that they would not be sentenced to death or tried before a military court.

That's OK boys, we'll take care of 'em.

How about dropping them off in the Azores and maybe we can avoid our lawyers and the ACLU enablers? We can set up a direct flight to Gitmo!

Earlier Al-Jazeera report said the main imam from Yemen was extradited to the US from Frankfurt. Same guy?

I guess there aren´t too many Yemenis waiting in Frankfurt to be extradicted to the US, so it´s probably the same guy with his fellow-terrorist.

However, the penalty they face in the States will be worse than the one in Germany.

Jumping Yeminis!

Ok, back to serious business...Humad and Humad Jr....had to be guaranteed sentences that are less than death in order for the Germans to agree to release them. So, my guess...if the US was smart...find rather simple charges to put against the guys and put them into a regular prison as soon as possible. The prison population will take care of this problem for us. They will not survive more than 12 months in any prison in the US. The Germans can weep all they want about these two 'poor' guys dying in prison....but its real life....just like airplanes which happen to collade into tall buildings.

I don´t think that anyone will care about them now - at least the Red-Greens can say that they didn´t legitimate state-ordered death. Btw, I´m also an opponent of the death penalty, in general. However, I support exceptions for cases when at least more than one man was killed, children (,women or men) were abused and killed, or the murder has a terrorist background. People who are guilty of aiding and abiding shouldn´t be punished to death. This is my personal opinion.
