Vanity: Will Los Angeles become the Next France, Afganistan?
myself

I was just driving down Overland Avenue is West Los Angeles and what did I see? Four seperate sets of women in full-blown burquas.
They were the blue type that is commonly seen in Afganistan...with faces fully covered. I am very rattled by this and do not like it one bit.
Am I proposing a ban on such things? Of course not. Yet I'm forced to wonder, is this just the beginning?
I've read stories on Free Republic that describe parts of Paris where non-muslim women are required to wear burquas...or be harrased and/or beaten.
Is this where are "tollerance" is taking us?

The way the country is going downhill due to ( in large part ) wacked out Californian activists, I would assume so.

They are merely filming a new show; "Burquas Law".

Did this happen on Halloween?
Maybe it was just a costume, and you saw some drag queens!
To: Partisan Hack
In California ugly women are required to cover up in public.

I was at Seaworld and saw a nattily dressed Arab man with a few kids, trailed by a woman (?) in a head-to-toe black burka.
I consider this morally no different than if he was dragging a slave by a chain around the slave's neck.

1)The population of Europe is aging in a major way and the birthrate, for the non-immigrant population, is declining. What this means is
that going
forward, the governments of Europe are going to have a cash crunch. They will need money to support their generous welfare
programs for the
elderly but there will be a smaller tax base from which they can get the money. This will have implication across the board for spending
decisions
and for these countires.
2)The birthrate of the immigrant Muslim population in European countires is sky rocketing (Steyn reports that "at present demographic
rates, by
2020, the majority of children in Holland i.e., the population under 18 will be Muslim). What this means is that you can expect far
more
turbulence in European countires as the Muslim population begins to exercise its power through the vote. This will also have implications
acorss
the board. Economic, religious, cultural. Kind of ironic that there are no Muslim countires that are democratic so the Muslim people have
no
influence. Yet by going to European countires that are democratic, the Muslim population will get to exert their influence.
People may be of the attitude of who cares? It's France, Germany, Holland. Well, it's also Britain, Holland, etc, etc. This cannot be good
for the
world. It also will not be good for Israel. Once again according to Steyn, "59 per cent of Europeans think Israel is the biggest threat to
world
peace." This number can only rise with the demographics. Be forewarned.
Can California be far behind Europe?....even got a new Euro governor...

Will Los Angeles become the Next France, Afganistan? Yes, if the idiot liberals out here have their way.
They revere anything and everything that is anti-American. And when things decay because of their idiocy, they come up with "brilliant" solutions like renaming their failed social experiements (like their more recent moves to "fix" South Central by renaming it to something else).
California isn't just going down the toilet...it's doing the final swirl before it vanishes into the Great Septic Tank of Destiny.

due to ( in large part ) wacked out Californian activistsNo, it's due to leaders, including the current president, who lack the backbone to even mention the word "immigration" much less do something about its out-of-control state.
The filth in France, and elsewhere in Europe didn't just spring from the soil; it was imported one "just-trying-for-a-better-life" muslim at a time by cowardly politicians. We can laugh at France now, because of their general annoyingness, but we're just two decades or so behind them on the same road to hell

Wimp. I was in Bali just before the bombing and felt the same way. If that makes me a wimp, so be it.
With one word, you have described what you are -- big time.

I don't think Hispanic women are interested in covering their faces, so the answer is no. If anyplace on this planet is the ultimate melting pot, it is the Los Angeles metro area. It is about as different from France as Tibet is.

I think it would be kind of cool to see Babs Streisand forced to wear a burqua or be stoned in the streets, actually....

One of the sure signs of low intelligence is an inability to anticipate the future.
The burkhas bother me, too , when I think about what they may mean for the future of the West.

I dare you to send a Burqa to Barbara Streisand and tell her that she MUST wear it when in LA, or she will be beaten.
It is written in the Holy Koran.
