I don't know who wrote this. Maybe Osama also should have done some reading.
"This is something to think about! Since America is typically represented by an eagle, Saddam should have read up on his Muslim passages...
The following verse is from the Quran, (the Islamic Bible). Quran (9:11)
--For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced; for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah; and there was peace.
Note the verse number!!!!"

I get lots of these e-mails. I usually check them for the Snopes stamp of authenticity.

Here is a verse from a different source, concerning Eagles, and wings.
Ezekiel 17:7There was also another great
eagle with great
wings and many feathers: and, behold, this vine did bend her roots toward him, and shot forth her branches toward him, that he might water it by the furrows of her plantation.
(Whole Chapter:
Ezekiel 17 In context:
Ezekiel 17:6-8)

I believe the Quran 9:21 also mentions something about a 'boot in your ass', too.

Looks like an irrigation prophecy. Old Zeke was into wheels within wheels, too. Had to be the first mechanical engineer in the bible. :)

I always wonder where these e-mail hoaxes get started. They all have such a wide-eyed tone of astonishment (!!!), it almost seems as if they're written by the same person.

1a. The sacred book of Christianity, a collection of ancient writings including the books of both the Old Testament and the New Testament. b. The Hebrew Scriptures, the sacred book of Judaism. c. A particular copy of a Bible: the old family Bible. d. A book or collection of writings constituting the sacred text of a religion.
I think of the Bible as being 1a.

Well, definition D would fit the Koran, I think.

I have no problem with Cynics.
I know about the Wheels within wheels, and alot about chariots of the gods, and a bit more even. I have spent most of my life reading diverse things, in an attempt to learn much. I may come up short in the balances, but I can discern, that I know just a bit more than most. I defintely can recognize a cynic, who has never read the book of Ezekial when I meet one. That sir, would be the category that you fall into in.

This is from the Koran:
"9.11": But if they repent and keep up prayer and pay the poor-rate, they are your brethren in faith; and We make the communications clear for a people who know.
To: Radix
Pardon my spelling and such. I have this problem with rawness. I tend to post Raw!
