Democrats use national security intelligence for political purpose

Posted on 11/05/2003 5:18:53 AM PST by ShelleyAa

Can’t you just see it, Democrat “thought to be” non-partisan, intelligent committee staffers huddled in a smoked-filled room rubbing their sweaty palms in glee as they realize that perhaps politics can be played once again with “naïve” Americans? The plan discovered recently in a memo revealed as follows: Democrats must understand if we are to win the next election we must use intelligence to our advantage, even if it means distortion, deception or destruction to America and its war against terrorism. Winning at all cost must be our mantra.

With this Democrat-associated revelation, brace yourself for the spin. We will be told all politicians do this? That Republicans have no business going through garbage cans and that Democrats have every right to point their finger at the President. However, whether all politicians do it or not, wrong is wrong. And deceiving the public to gain power is wrong. As far as garbage gathering, who knows for sure who picked up the note? Could one assume that someone within their own organization might have smelt the stink and wanted to dispose of it? Furthermore, one may criticize the President without using one’s position in the powerful intelligent committee. Is it possible that the real investigation should be directed at partisan, intelligent committee Democrats that appear to be pointing their finger for political reasons?

Something happened to most Americans after September 11th. Now many don’t just expect those representing us to work together for the betterment of America but demand it, regardless of which party one belongs to. Intelligence must not be used for partisan purposes on either side. September 11th brought home the importance of placing national security as top priority; it is a life or death issue. Democrats must realize that consequences will follow their flagrant behavior of deception. Soon Americans may begin to question their motives on all issues. They may ask if Democrats lie about intelligence, what else is untrue.

Let us see if the media holds the same opinion. I doubt that we will hear a word about this on tonight's news. What is your guess?

Democrats use national security intelligence for political purpose

An interesting sidelight. Let's hope it resonates with the public. What would really be a news story would read:

Democrats use national security intelligence for national security.

To do something, to be accused of something is one matter. To have it written down is a whole different thing. If that memo is genuine it is a treasonous act. It should not be glossed over here or anywhere. This is serious business.

This is the most outrageous admission of anti-americanism there has ever been. These people are seriously, truely dangerous. This has to be the most incredible piece I have ever read.

...if Democrats lie about intelligence, what else is untrue.

Indeed it can be said that "intelligence" is one of the more sensitive areas of our government. Does it not follow then that lies about "less sensitive" government would occur at least as frequently? The goal is to keep or regain power at ANY cost.

For example: vote fraud, Arkancides, selling secrets to the Chinese, et al.
