The goverment published the truth in ~parts~ of the Warren Report, but used it to come to the wrong conclusion..

Their own 'single bullet theory', together with the film, proves that at least one other shot was fired, other than the three by Oswald.

Where it was were fired from & by whom we will never know.
The 'report' was just another  botched government job.

The only really legitimately decent job of keeping anything of significance secret recently was the Stealth Fighter; it was around and operational for a while even before the Aviation Leak & Space Technology stuff started, and even after the rumors made it out and there were plastic model airplane kits of the supposed "F-19" they got the appearance and the designation of the stealth fighter TOTALLY wrong (remember, it was supposed to be smooth and curved?).

Few movies are able to pull off that dramatic device of a surprise ending like that---where you don't know the ending until the VERY END.

BTW, I guess you'd say The Usual Suspects is a quintescential "guy flick." It's number 17 all time on IMDB.com for male voters; I don't think it's on the list for female voters.

Sir, I have seen a re-creation of the view from the "sniper's nest" a few years ago.

The fact is that any trained rifleman could have made that shot.

The biggest problem that the conspiracists have is this:

A LOSER with a JUNK RIFLE changed history.

It's kind of hard to accept, but that is what happened.

Yep, -- a boy scout could have shot three times, just like Oswald, and never made that 'magic' bullet work.

I've been there and looked out the window he was suppose to have shot out of...don't buy it.

So have I, and it appeared to be an easier shot than I'd assumed, given all the various theories.
