I'm glad to see ALL the shows picking up on this. O'Reilly led the charge, Lou Dobbs has done some great stuff on this, and hopefully Scarborough will too.
This is truly a case where the people will have to force the government to act. The GOP is just as bad as the Dems on this one! It's outrageous that even Republicans have forgotten the meaning of the word 'illegal' and are acting against the interests of the American People.

Joe is great he's been covering it as long as we have

"It's outrageous that even Republicans have forgotten the meaning of the word 'illegal' and are acting against the interests of the American People." Can any of us here admit that the current USA leadership, possibly led by our President, is complicit in this? Or shall we delicately turn our eyes aside with excuses?
May the God of all Mercy help all those for whom truth is the touchstone. Persecution is their reward.

It seems some corprations probably factor in the foodstamps and welfare assistance for the working poor in order to justify their wages.
Illegal means ILLEGAL, why are they protecting criminals?
To: JustPiper
Thanks for the heads-up. I won't miss it.

He doesn't have a TV show, but Michael Savage has been pretty heavy about "borders, language, and culture" for a while too....
Regardless, it's good that this topic gain momentum. It seems to me that "illegal" activities should be considered "illegal" by our representatives....

I'm not home, but from what I see Joe did not say anything about this for tonight's show. Went to his website and I think mayhaps due to the fires, this may have been postponed?

Great article Dana thanx!
Pelosi called on business leaders to pressure Washington to ease immigration law because, as employers, they depend "on some people who may not be completely where they need to be legally."
Not completely where they need to be legally

Thanks for the ping. (Bustamante on Scarborough last night, Gray on tonight, weird!)
A bit bummed at MSNBC for trimming Joe's schedule down. I used to be able to watch it at 10pm pacific, now I either have to watch it at 7pm, or tape it at midnight or later.

I can't believe I dozed off on the couch before it came on! Well, my sister tapes him every night and I'll ask her if he covered the subject tomorrow. If he did, I'll post something.

I'm glad to see ALL the shows picking up on this. O'Reilly led the charge, Lou Dobbs has done some great stuff on this, and hopefully Scarborough will too. I totally agree. O'Reilly was about the first mainstream media person to highlight this issue and others have become less afraid to talk about it. Pat Buchanan was actually earlier, but he was easily demonized and did not affect public discourse.
