She said she doesn’t blame the teacher”

Does the school have a policy against any kind of messaging behind students during Zoom calls?

If so, then this is appropriate, to prevent distraction. But if not, it would have been a fabulous teachable moment about free speech.

If I still had school aged children I would have some fun with this and maybe get paid also.

a couple children with just President Trumps picture visible
and a few with a Picture of Barry the Muslim visible, I would choose the one of him smoking weed and other unflattering ones.

Then see if the Teacher still complains

Why isn’t the idenity of the teacher clearly made known in this “news” report. Wonder if this “teacher” is Antifa at night.

Time to file a lawsuit for fraud (billing but not teaching), discrimination, and deprivation of rights.

Are Biden or BLM signs allowed to be seen?

As a general principle, there shouldn’t be any signs or political discussion in school. If those things are also applied to online school, I would be fine.

If there are Biden signs or BLM signs, then anything is fair game and freedom of speech.

You have to do this in pairs.

Have someone put a Biden poster behind them and see what they say

If burning the Flag protects an anti-American POS under the First Amendment, then the student is also protected by the First Amendment.

Replace it with a rainbow flag.

Then take it to court when they stop complaining.

Move the TRUMP flag to the side and add a COME AND TAKE IT! flag. You then will have two flags to hack them off. One with TRUMP and one with a cannon.

Congress to the rescue (yeah, right) of this Trump-supporting student! /sarc

If parents were making sure that their children were being taught about their constitutionally enumerated protections, then the referenced student would be able to defend his Trump flag by politely reminding his teacher of the following.

The states gave Congress the express 14th Amendment (14A) power to make laws that discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections, 1st Amendment-protected free speech in this case.

From the 14th Amendment:

H O W E V E R…

Instead of having federal lawmakers that we can rely on to do their sworn duty to make penal laws to put activist state actors who abridge constitutionally enumerated protections into federal prison, we are still stuck with corrupt, worthless lawmakers left over from the lawless Obama Administration who will predictably munch popcorn while watching CNN show the student getting expelled for refusing to hide his Trump flag from the virtual classroom.

The remedy for constitutionally failed federal and state governments…

Patriots not only need to elect new patriot federal and state lawmakers who will promise to fully support PDJT’s already excellent work for MAGA, especially helping to stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus, but will also do the following.

New lawmakers also need to promise to do their sworn duty to make penal laws to discourage state actors from abridging constitutionally enumerated protections of citizens.

Also regarding 14A:

My children have all graduated and are gainfully employed. However if I was told to remove flags, pitchers, etc from the room so the school could use it I would send the school a bill for the rent of the room. If they are demanding control then they can pay rent.

Correct answer to the ‘teacher’

“Don’t force me to seek council” ie get a lawyer. Cause they know they will lose - big time.

I battled many times with the local school district, that was the magic phrase.
