Even in perfect conditions with teleprompters to read from, Joe Biden still forgets what he's talking about. The presumptive Democratic presidential nominee is barely there.
Appearing virtually at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers' 2020 Virtual Political Conference on Wednesday, Biden appeared to be reading from a teleprompter when he repeatedly lost his train of thought.
"Lonnie knows I believe this every fiber of being, we're opposed," Biden began confidently enough before he seemingly lost his place with the teleprompter.
Biden then switched to platitudes about making "it happen" and illuminating "the path forward."
"What I propose is, is, it can be done. I think we're in a position to really make it happen. And my team and your team are already working closely together to light up the path forward here," Biden said.
Biden's overworked staff must have queued the teleprompter back up because Biden then appears to return to it, only to lose his train of thought once again.
"Critical laws like the PRO Act to strengthen collective bargaining, on politics like prevailing and," Biden continued, as he held up his hand in a futile effort to follow along. It was no use.
"Look," a defeated Biden said as he gives up on the teleprompter. "I guess, I'm, I'm, I'm taking too much time, but you know ..."

Getting what, Joe? Confused? Tired? Sleepy?
President Trump better not spend too much energy attacking Biden because the Democrats are liable to switch him out at the last minute in an historic bait-and-switch operation.
I wouldn’t be surprised if wait till just a few days before the election to do it.
He’ll be replaced by Michelle Obama or Kamala Harris.
They might even arrange for Biden to have a stroke or a heart attack after Trump beats him soundly in a debate, thereby stoking the sympathy factor. Biden will be said to have made his replacement promise to beat Trump for him whilst on his death-bed.
In fact, I wouldn’t put it past them to arrange for him to collapse during a debate. Trump will be blamed for it, accused of being cruel and unfeeling.
He’s really out of it. That vacant look...
If he does that in a debate, live on stage with Trump, as millions watch, he’s toast........but will still get 35% OF THE VOTE................

Poor Joe Biden, he’s losing the last bits of coherence before our very eyes. He should be spending time with his family, but instead is being used by the Democrats because they hated Bernie Sanders as much as they hate President Trump.
I don’t like Biden’s politics, but I think it’s wrong to manipulate and abuse the elderly when they’re incapable of making their own decisions.
Sad to think he has a solid shot at the White House.
You are right. He could go full lock up, deer in the headlights stuff, and still get that percentage.

It wouldn't surprise me if he starts wandering aimlessly around the stage about midway through the debate, and has to be guided back to the podium. I wonder how the Democrats would spin that?
Maybe Joe’s losing it because they stopped letting him paw young girls and sniff their hair.

He can’t focus. His mental acuity is gone. His family needs to intervene if they care about him.
...And then he’ll be replaced late in the contest by someone of no accomplishment, and no record, who will be free to make up any stands they want.
That’s proven to be a winner for Democrats. It’s essentially how Obama was elected.
They won’t allow him to get within 10 feet of a young girl. They know what would happen.
